This may have been answered already, but a search on the subject yielded no results.
As most probably know, a Japanese 360 premium system can be had for $430 US on Liksang.com. This seems like a pretty good deal, especially since it would mean I'd actually have a 360. I have 2 questions, however:
1) Is there a way to play US games on Japanese systems as of this time?
2) Will American peripherals work on Japanese systems?
If the answers to those questions are "yes", I'll likely be buying a 360 sooner rather than later.

Not sure on Question 2. However, to answer Question 1... there are a number of U.S. games that aren't region-locked and can play on a Japanese system. There's a list around here somewhere.
Hopefully there will be some Japanese games we can play on U.S. systems. Especially Wrestle Kingdom. 8-)

US games can play on a Japanese system, but Japanese games can't play on a US System.

Saw on the FirePro Club site that someone claimed it WAS region locked, so we can't play it here. It was recalled the same day it was released, but that was because of a save bug, not because they were going to switch the region.
Don't even know if it's any good or not, but it can't be any worse that the shitfest they tried to force-feed us with the WWE wrestling games on XBox.

This applies to all US games?

Here's a link to the topic on Region-Free games: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77804
None of the Microsoft US games are compatible with a Japanese console.

Damn, that sucks. Well, we can always hope that the fixed version is region-free...
