View Full Version : I just finished trading in some stuff at EB and I am HAPPY

So I go in today and I trade in:
Jak and Daxter
Jak 3
Timepslitters 2
Timesplitters FP
Cel Damage

That got me a total of $29.57 with the extra 30% promo. When the guy swipes my card (it had a balance of $0) to give me the credit, the system apparently freezes, so he swipes it again. When he gives me the receipt I have to sign I notice they gave me $59.14 in credit. Apparently, since he swiped it twice I got double the credit on my card! I then use it to completely pay off Kingdom Hearts 2 just in case they notice the mistake and take the credit off my card. After I did this, I STILL leave with $9.15 remaining on the card. So for everyone who is always complaining about how EB rips us off with trade-in prices, remember what was said in Harold in Kumar go to White Castle: the universe has a way of working itself out.

Right. I am absolutely positive that the EB clerk accidentally giving you double credit is not a universal resolution of karma.

Of course, it could just be a fuckING MISTAKE. Good Lord.

Jesus Christ, just because you don't believe in karma doesn't mean you have to go crazy when someone mentions it. And it was A FREAKIN JOKE. Thats why I quoted Harold and Kumar. Carajo.
