View Full Version : If you could tame one wild animal, what would it be?

I don't know what got me thinking about this, but I had a sudden urge to own a kangaroo. How bad ass would it be to have a baby just hopping around your house? Once it grows up (assuming it was a female and you were small) you could ride around in its pouch. You could call your kangaroo on someone, and they could kick their ass 30 feet.
Your turn.

A lion I like Rhino's more but to me a lion would be (is) a giant cat or sorta like a dog. It would play with you, feel its part of a pack, protect its home, basically I think it would be like a dog.
However making an animal tame does not make it safe. I think OP maybe you mean if you could domesticate an animal safely.

It would be a wild boar or a vampire bat. I would train them to attack all those religious freaks that knock on my door on my Saturday mornings

This is all very strange.
I think it would be useful to have something small, like a mouse or a snake, to do your bidding covertly.
Or I could train a woman

True, making an animal tame doesn't make it safe, but there is a certain amount of precaution to take when dealing with all animals, especially dogs. What I am asking is 'If you could keep an animal, safely, as a pet, which would it be?'

I think it'd be cool to have a penguin. I know you can buy them but I'm not sure how that would turn out. It'd be cool to have a completely tame one like a cat or dog running around the house :-p

As kick ass as a polar bear would be, it wouldnt be very functional. A bird would prolly be your best bet, since they can go almost anywhere and are not suspicious.
So for asskicktasticity (yes i made that word up, wanna fight about it?), I'll say polar bear... but I would choose a raven. Badass, not suspicious, and has tons of uses.
then again... you can ride a polar bear...

Someone needs to write that, and I would go with grizzly, I love polar bears but they really dont like summers and I'm not moving to the arctic.

Ahh...I was disappointed, I went to the site thinking it would be a cross between a Wolf and a Dolphin... oh well, a man can dream...
Anyway, I would tame the Loch Ness Monster or the true Wolphin, the Wolfin able to travel on land and underwater.

I thought it was a wolf and a dolphin at first too then I realized the mechanics of that would be terrifying.
