Isnt playing at my theater.
Thats because 65% of the 2000+ theatres that said that they would show it dropped it 2 days before the release. That should tell you something about it.

33 reviews on www.rottentomatoes.com and it received a 6%... out of 100%. That's how awesomely bad it is.
Uwe Boll..... STOP. STOP STOP STOP STOP.
See my previous thread. STOP STOP STOP STOP.
See www.uweboll.com. STOP STOP STOP STOP.
Goddam this movie... Here is a great quote from the moviesavant website - read it, you'll enjoy it:
Firstly, the estimated marketing costs for Bloodrayne have been posted, running $22m. That's only $3 million less than the production budget, so it's going to nearly double the amount of money this stinker will need to reach the break-even point to about $94 million. Not only is that unlikely, it's impossible. The estimated take for Bloodrayne is only $450,000. I don't see this moving making more than $3-4 million total this weekend. When are people going to stop trusting Uwe Boll? It makes me wish there was a stock market for Hollywood. You could make an incredible fortune by short selling (http://www.investorguide.com/igup1-short-selling.htm) stock in his movies. Thank you, Uwe Boll, for being as predictable as a rock.
As side note, for some reason Bloodrayne only opened in about 1000 theaters, rather than the 2000 I was lead to believe it would. But even if it does expand on Saturday or Sunday, or even next weekend, it won't matter to the bottom line here. This movie has bombed, and not even DVD's sales can save it.

Ok people remember BloodRayne the game, it wasn't exactly compelling stuff. The movie was alright though overall. I'd recomend it to people on the fence or vampire movie fans, but no one else. When compared to Van Helsing and all the other vampire movies that have come out in the last 5 years it stackes up about evenly. Plus the girl who plays Rayne is very well cast and has some very nice tits. And on that topic it has a sex scene.
Overall as a vampire movie fan i'd like to see a sequel. Preferably and hopefully with a new directeror.
