Older game Compatibility issues

I bought a Missile command the other day (.99, how could I not). Any way it freezes on the first frame on start and I hve to reset my sys. I have looked for patches and I have tried running it in win 98 emulation, but it didnt work. Any suggestions would help.

Have you tried it in MS DOS emulation? That's the only way I've been able to get red alert 1 to play consistently for me.
