Xbox Live and Xbox 360 Live

I don't own an Xbox 360 yet but if you are currently an Xbox Live subscriber and have an Xbox are you able to use your 360 with the same account? Will it be possible to use both at 1 low price? Or do I have to buy a second subscription?
