Taken from about 3 or 4 other deal sites (Fatwallet, etc), but since 80lb CRT monitors are impossible to ebay, it hasn't caught on too much.
KDS XF-9S Xtreme Flat 19" CRT: $137.80

$30 off $150 Coupon: (you'll have to add $12.20 of filler to the order to get the $30 off, net $17.80 savings)

$100 Office Depot mail-in rebate:
http://forms.young-america.com/31565_OD4802033-011106.pdf
Total: $20 plus tax, for a 19" CRT and $12.20 of whatever you want. I picked up some bubble wrap and a dozen pens. Maybe someone else can find a better way to use that $12.20.
For $20, I can use this exclusively for my 360. My 20" monitor's 2nd port isn't compatible, and a KVM goes for about $20 anyway. Rebate should be reliable since its Office Depot's own rebate, and not through the manufacturer. Not quite as easy or fast as a Staples rebate, but not bad.

I know you said Office Max rebate and meant Depot....just so confusion doesn't arise. I bought this monitor for a famliy member.....he loves it.

Yeah, I always get those two confused. But everything is through Office Depot.

You've seen this monitor in person? Is the screen actually flat, and how many inputs does this have?

Damn none left, and I guess you can't order something that they don't have.

Tempting but OD almost screwed me on a $20 rebate. The rebate center lost my UPC so they wouldn't give me the rebate. I went back to the store and the manager just gave me a $20 refund (plus tax). I doubt they'd do that for $100 though.

Works for me, its a PDF, so make sure you have Adobe Acrobat installed.
Availability is regional, your area may still have some, depending on where you are. Also, they periodically get more.

You click through the link, and a page comes up that says, $30 off... etc. Click on that, and the coupon is added to your cart.

argh, thanks, but I decided not to bite. While I would really like to, and it is an amazing deal, I'll be moving to a small apartment soon, and prolly won't have room for a 2 monitor setup. (btw, they DO come in and go out of stock randomly. I had one in my cart, it got pulled. I checked back a few minutes later, and they were available again.)

This deal comes back every few months and gets cheaper everytime. I got this monitor + 2x 50-pack Maxell DVD-Rs when it was $40 AR/AC. Cheap and effective monitor, but takes up a bit of desk space.

I've got one.. I'm staring at it right now. My dad got one a while back and gave it to me after getting an LCD. I prefer it over my old Dell 17" monitor. It's plain old power and VGA cord though... although I must say that it's brighter and prettier than a standard CRT. It's a heavy bastard though.

The UPC submitted is not from a qualifying monitor or projector this is what it shows when I check on the rebate has anybody else got this?

Check the Fatwallet thread here:
http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/messageview.php?start=20&catid=18&threadid=579580
OD is "aware of the problem" but I'd look into resubmitting with the posted copy of the correct UPC.

I called them and they said everything will be ok and I will still get the rebate, and now it said no errors, when I checked on the Rebate Status.

My status now also says no errors. I never had to call or anything.
It was an error on their part. the rebate offer was for the beige monitor, and OD shipped silver monitors. They have different UPC's but the same product number and are treated as the same item since the only difference is the color. But since they have different UPC's, the rebate processing people don't know any better and mark it as incorrect UPC. Its all sorted out now though, apparently.
