I have everything set up but not all of the folder that I have selected is appearing in the music player on my 360. Specifically, I want my iTunes library to appear. It's located here: C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music and there are 65 folders in there that do not show up for whatever reason. This is the folder I am choosing to share with all devices in media center.

EDIT: Actually, I just noticed the only things showing up are podcasts.

EDIT2: OK, I just realized that the podcasts are .mp3s and everything else is a mpeg-4 audio file. My iPod works though when I connect it to my Xbox with my the usb cable because I downloaded that patch from Xbox Live.

Any ideas?

Convert your music to mp3.

Is that the only way?

So no AAC over media connect then? Shouldn't the patch that allows you to play iPod work for this too?

You would think so, but it doesn't. No AAC over media connect, and technology still hates you.

Thanks. That's what I thought. Technology may hate me but I am trying better to understand it. If I learn to think like my enemy it will help me defeat it.

yeah but my iPod works and that's full of AAC files - there is a patch you can download to get it to work so you would think the same patch would work for media connect.

yeah you know whats classic about that to is Bill Gates is the majority shareholder in Apple yet they still compete. MS is about to launch there digital distribution service in the fall. For one flat rate you get all the music and a huge chunk of movies even to watch. But to tell you this my buddy Zig has tried EVERYTHING to get iTunes working and it doesn't man. You should have heard him ranting, your much more calm and collected than he was. He just got that new iPod video and he didn't knwo there was a patch so it didn't work at first and he FLIPPED. lol good luck and just convert them to mp3's man.
