How to transfer PS2 saves on PSP?

Did a search and didn't find anything. I just want to take saves from my ps2 mem card, and back them up on the PSP. I plugged in the PSP via usb on the ps2, but it wasn't recognized or anything. Tried to copy and the ps2 says no other device found. I remember reading you could do this when the system came out.

Any help?

you need max drive or codebreaker and a usb drive to do that.
