Tribes: AA for PS2, great deal, you can pick it up for less than $10 on a lot of websites (EBgames.com, etc), and we still have a large community with tons of people playing. Check out http://taacentral.com

It's a very fast paced and skill based game. Here's a link of some gameplay footage to give you an idea:

Hope to see some new players 8-)

Not a deal.

I'm not gonna ban you, since you really aren't doing any harm with this. But this kind of thing needs to be in the system forum, NOT in the deals forum.

I did, and found the 'Tribal Code of Honor (http://taacentral.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=280) '

All midair Spinfusors/Plasmas/Blasters/Chainguns are CHEAP because it has nothing to do with skill it depends on the person's connection speed

Mines are considered noobish if you randomly place them around a map

If you stay in a fighter all game then some people will not like it and will leave the server but it is not considered cheap

If you diss less than 5v5 then that is considered cheap because the other team does not have enough people to repair but if the other team disses you then you are able to diss back

Using missles all game is considered noobish but can be strategic in clan matches

In a duel server if you Camp a base/Base kill/Recharge in the middle of dueling/get a health pack in the middle of dueling are considered cheap and will most likely get you kicked out of a server.

In a duel server to duel somebody throw a flare, wait for them to throw a flare back then you can start fighting

Well, with any game, there are things that are "cheap", such as camping in CS or things like that, this is just a guideline for noobs to follow of things that are looked down upon in game.

I like the overall wording of the code...such as dissing, etc.

Slang for disrupting, to tribers.

Watch the video to get an idea of what the game is like.

The code of honor is one of the funniest things I've ever read. Seriously. It alone convinced me never to buy this game.

Guess it's just easier to be ignorant for some people...

Wow. That code of honor is retarded. PC Tribers wouldn't care about that kind of stuff. Pretty vast difference between PC Tribers and PS2 Tribers.

PS2 tribers also have a much better tournament and much better gameplay, and considering most of the PS2 players have played PC tribes, and most PC tribes players dont have TAA for PS2 yet still bash on it anyways, I think I have every right to say that.

I'm a big fan of Tribes:AA. I haven't played it for quite some time, but I did play shit out of it for a long while. I was pretty pissed when my PS2 stopped playing blue bottom discs as it meant no more tribes for me (I've since gotten a new PS2).

I think one of the most amazing things about the game is how the developers (Inevitible) stuck with it years after its release to make improvements to its online play.

Nice video, but I don't think it can truly be appreciated if you haven't played the game.

Very, very true. You try to say that mid-air attacking is cheap and no one will ever play with you. Most of the rules seemed really dumb to me, I actually thought they were a joke for a while.

I used to play Tribes AA, in fact it was the first online game I played on my Slim PS2. Got it for something like 8 or 12 bucks at Circuit City. But I slowly lost interest when I was randomly kicked out of games, and as I started to play Tribes 2 again (Got it for free during that Fileplanet event awhile back).
