controller?
Just thought I would get some reviews from some CAGs, I tend to rely on these more than website reviews, but I just got these two afte the BB coupon and was just wondering before I opened them.

The best you can get, Hand Down! Plus has excellent battery life.
I have to say it is definitely sweet. However recently I have found myself going back to the dual shock...I think the logitech is great but it lacks that 1st party feel. Then again after holding a wavebird its hard for me to use any controller mainly because it fits my hands so well.

I have the Logitech wireless controllers for both PS2 (Action) and Xbox (Precision) and I can't recommend them enough! I bought both refurbished off eBay awhile ago and they haven't let me down one bit. 8-)

Yeah its awesome. The battery life is amazing too. I've put 42 hours into Dragon Quest and haven't even needed to replace the batteries, and I had been using it plenty before starting Dragon Quest. Stop what you're doing and go buy one.

I've got a PS2 white EA one, and it's damn good.

Where did you get it.
I've been looking for one.
Haven't been able to find one and thought I was imagining that I had seen one available.

Has anyone tried the cordless precision controller for ps2? Its supposed to have a 300hr runtime but no rumble feature. I was wondering if it feels cheap or not, cause I find the action action controller a little too small.

Best Buy. About a month ago they had a sale on it whereby you received a $10 gift card with the purchase of it. I attempted to use the $10 off coup in conjunction and got shut down. Ended up just buying one with coup and one without, only to return one after x-mas for full store credit.
I've seen the white EA version there a lot. The stores around here (northeast KS) had plenty when I bought mine.

I have this controller. I love it, it makes me want to play my PS2 more.
I usually play with rumble off, but have never had to change batteries. I actually like it better than the Dual Shock, except for the loose D-pad. That's the only downside.

Yaeh, I know it's funny isn't it, but I really never paid to much attention to the threads I guess. Oh well thanks all for the great reviews. Gonna open it up and test it out tonight. Anyway, I know that this doesn't belong in this thread or the Sony forum, but how is the Xbox version of this controller? Just as good?
I got one for the PS2 and I love it! It is ergonomically designed to fit one's hands perfectly and there is no lag in response time. I'm thinking of getting another one for the second game port :)
I haven't had first hand experience but I read reviews that the cordless connector did not fit the slim PS2 well in the sense that the connector would literally 'lift up' the slim ps2 if you set it down horizontally. However, the one I got last month does not have this problem with my slim PS2. The bottom of the connector is flush with the slim PS2. Perhaps Logitech has redesigned the connector in view of the new slim PS2 released a year ago. Just a head up in case you have a slim PS2 and you're looking for an used controller.

I'll have to look for that redesign....I have a slim PS2 and it really bothers me keeping the PS2 so close to the shelf because of it.

I saw the white PS2 version at Best Buy. It has a "EA Sports" logo on the right handle.

I hate the fact it has EA on it, but already have a black one.
Three Best Buy's near me are cleaned out of white ones. :(
Yeah. I don't understand why some people are obsessed with the white controller. I meant the console is black, and pairing a white cotnroller doesn't go very well with the color anyway???

I actually wanted a black one, but it was only the white one that BB was having a deal on. The white's growing on me though....truthfully, I don't look at it much, so it matters not to me.
I like them, except the fact that it lifts up the ps2 and the x button always sticks!(makes me not want to use it) anyone else have this problem?

See my post #15 :)
Logitech seems to have redesigned the wireless transceiver such that it does not lift up the slim PS2 anymore. If you buy the controller brand new, chances are that you will get the redesigned one.
I love my controller. It connects to my slim PS2 perfectly and I don't have any 'stuck' button so far.
I googled about the x button sticking and found out that is a common problem...

its a bit of a pain if youre using the mic because it plugs into the xcvr and not the controller.
i like it alot but it doesnt have as good a feel as the ps2 model.
still, i wouldnt buy any other wrieless for my xbox.

Is there something I should look for on the package? To tell me that It's compatible with the slim ps2? I looked at some today at best buy & target I could not see any diffrent , they had a 2004 date on them.
also the only one I see that mentions the reciever being compatible W/ the silm ps2 is the Cordless Precision Controller(clear blue).
