anyone here have a max drive?

i'm looking for something that i can use to back up my game saves on my comp so i can free up some memory card space. i was looking online at one, and while reading the customer reviews only one person liked it, 4 or 5 people said it corrupted their memory cards. so i was wondering if anyone here had one, and if they had any problems like that with it.

I have one, just got it a couple weeks ago. I backed up all my mem cards to my pc and that seemed to work well. But Ive only restored stuff to my mem cards a couple times, including files I dl'ed off the net, and Ive had no problems yet, but like I said, my experience is limited.

Geez I hope this thing works as advertised, cos I backed up all my mem cards and then erased them! If I cant restore those files Imma be mighty pissed.

I have it,(got it the 1st day it came out) It works pretty good. I use it to D'L rosters for my sports games.(and to email files back and forth to my friends) And I have also backed up all my MC saves onto my pc.(also have gotten them off without any problems)

The only beef I have with it is the usb memory card , I have to put added pressure on it(push it up and in) for the ps2 & usb on the pc to read it. So I might buy a small usb stick replacement.

I've only had it get corrupted like once or twice. But it was because the file I downloaded was corupted.

We should have a thread where we share files...
