Is that a good deal? Looks like it to me but I have no idea so what do you fellow CAGers think?
Also, how does Dell ship their stuff exactly? And what accessories comes with it in the box in regards to cables? I'm assuming at least a VGA cable is included but what about DVI?
Many thanks in advance. :D

I get about 20 to 50 refurb dell monitors a month. The usually come packaged with the VGA and DVI cable, USB cable and the power adapter. Also a software CD. Hope this helps

$434 is a little steep for a 20 inch LCD, even a widescreen.
Theres this 19" widescreen LCD for $274, but theres no DVI port.

Staples has a 27" LCD TV for $550, tonight only. You can use it as a monitor too, though.

The Dell isn't bad, and thats an OK price, but you might be able to do a little better if you shop around.

That's the monitor I use now....it's nice.
If you look on other deal forums you can sometimes find the monitor new and shipped for ~$350. I got 2 @ $720.xx including shipping and tax.

I, in fact, purchased that exact monitor and am using it with my G5. I thought it was a great deal, especially with a 3 year warranty..
Please keep in mind, though, that my point of reference (as far as pricing) was the Apple 20" display, which was retailing for $800, with (I think) a 1 year warranty.
This monitor is great. I actually was thinking that I would suggest that monitor in this thread if it wasn't the one you were talking about.
P.S.: it came with the DVI cable. The shipping was perfect. I went for next business day, and hot damn it was there.
Next.
Business.
Day.

I don't know why it has refurbished in the URL despite the fact that its not in their outlet/refurb area of the site.
As far as shipping what company does Dell use (FedEx, UPS, USPS, other)?
Many thanks. I might go with this one. :D
