i just went to 4 different bestbuys in houston area and the prices varied or weren't in effect for some games. i didn't check all but some were not 4.99 or 9.99.

Yes, I encountered much of the same. Both Tony Hawk 2X and Tony Hawk 3 were still 19.99 at the Western Hills BB in Cinci. Many other games were not 4.99 as well, but I can't remember them all.

that's fucking bunk. i was hoping to score of these titles. what sucks is the titles i wanted were shipped to warehouse for the online bitches to score. the games i really didn't want were mostly in abundance. i did happen to score rpg maker 2, which was top 3 in my list. only one out of 4 best buys had one, and it was the last.

I just returned The Thing for xbox there, so if you wan't that it should be there. Sugar Land one basically has nothing. Almost all the stores in the houston area are sold out of most of the games.

I hate to say it, but you got screwed over by the employees. I went to the Best Buy on 59 and Gessner in Houston and got a few games. All of them showed the regular prices on the tag but rang up $4.99. I don't know why the other stores wouldn't be the same, but just one of those things I guess.

You have almost 0 options for sorting the games that you want to look at, and when you do find a good configuration for sorting them, the prices aren't listed! You then have to click on each game's pricing link, only to see that the prices aren't listed as what the sale says.

I checked the BB near my job(Bridgeton, MO) and they didn't have most of the games. Of the games they did have, only a few were 4.99. Does anyone know if the kiosks they have on the floor always match the register? I had a guy check the kiosk. I didn't want to cause a scene at the checkout.

There are 2 different PS2 games, Monster 4X4: Masters of Metal is $29.99, and Monster Jam: Maximum Destruction is $4.99. Both looked pretty bad.

I can vouch that the Monster Jam is bad. It was the only game left except for Everquest and I didn't want to miss out on this deal so I picked up MJ.

I know this is going to sound like a stupid question, but are you sure you got Masters of Metal for $4.99, and not Maximum Destruction? MoM should be ringing up at $29.99, as it did at the first store you checked. MD rings up at $4.99.

Yeah, that might have been it. I didn't know there was more than 1 version of the game so all I noticed on the list was the title of the game without the Roman numeral and figured that must have been the game on the list.

I didn't really notice which version it was, just when it rung up for $19.99, I told the cashier I didn't want the game but I guess it was 7.
