http://www.chipotle.com/email/06-val-001/valentines.htm (contains annoying flash before it gets to the details of the deal)
Basically, it's close to a buy 1, get 1 free type of deal.

Hmm... Maybe it's time to go to a Chipotle. It's been awhile since I was there.

the flash hangs for me on the screen that says "This valentine's day..."
where's the coupon? is there a hidden link somewhere in the flash?
maybe the success of this is browser dependant. i'm using ff with adblock.

Yeah - I get the same thing using Internet Explorer.
IS THERE even such a coupon - I suspect this must be just a deal you get anytime you buy a gift-card, not needing a coupon but pls. if anyone could elaborate on this to set this correct.
I like Chipotle and I must get this deal if my gf should be lucky enough to get taken out to Chipotle for V-day :) hahah

You just need to buy the giftcard and keep the receipt for the gift card. Then I think you use the receipt for a free burrito between the days Feb 12-14. I'm thinking me and my bf will buy each other giftcards and get in on some free burrito action. Or forget the Vday theme and just get myself a free burrito :P

Are Chipotle burritos any good? Thanks.I like them. They're not authentic Mexican burritos or anything, but their ingredients are pretty fresh. I like hot & sour stuff, and they use this lime flavored-rice as their rice filling. Chipotle is almost identical to Qdoba, if you've ever had them.

I see. I clicked on the link thinking it would give me info when the title of this thread actually has what I need to know. So I just buy a gift card at one of their stores, then present the receipt between 12-14 Feb. Sounds good.
Their burritos are okay, but you have to make a point of asking them to tone down the rice. Every Chipotle I've been into LOADS you with rice unless you say otherwise.
Also, I dislike the fact that they charge $0.75 (may be more, haven't been there in a while) for guacamole. And their guacamole isn't even decent guacamole--it's the stuff that's half-potato, half-avocado. At least it tastes like it.
However, it's a good place if you're planning on skipping meals. I'm an experienced meal skipper, and I've gone full days on a Chipotle burrito alone. They're BIG.

I really like their guacamole (nothing potato-like in there... very avocado-y), but they charge whopping $1.40 extra. I love guacamole in my burritos, so it ends up being like a $7 burrito

GOR!
Prices have probably haven't gone up since my last visit--I'd imagine I'm just forgetting how expensive it is. The most likely scenario is that the pricing is so prohibitive the last time I can remember actually ordering guac, it only cost $0.75 extra (maybe 7 years ago?).
That is cruel and unusual pricing. One freaking avocado costs $0.99, and they put maybe 1/4 (at best) of an avocado into the serving of guacamole they dish out. They may need to feed the monkey, but this unchecked guacamole gouging will not stand.
Man I love Chipotle. I need to go get one soon. And one just opened up around my house. Sweet deal.
