I am looking forward to it, it's just too bad I don't have a PSP. Mega Man X is one of my favorite games of all time. With all that being said, I can't wait to pick this up on the cheap when I finally get a PSP.

MMX Collection just came out, and redone graphics and item placement aren't enough to get me to drop $30 on this.

Espically since MMX takes about an hour or two to beat, tops.

Are you sure you are not looking at Preorder prices? Preorder prices are usually more, but they will only end up charging you the actual cost of the game. This protects them from losing too much on a price mistake.

Traded in some stuff to purchase a pre-order in full at gamestop. Well worth the $30 to me. MMX is one of the best MM games ever, throw in a Vile side-story and a mini-anime that helps explain the jump from MegaMan to MegaMan X, and I'm sold.

picked up friday for $10 (best buy reward zone rebate) and it's the best $10 spent on the psp....currently going through vile mode.... and the anime is about 24 minutes (available once you beat the game)

Just Beat X mode late last night. Excellent, EXCELLENT remake of MMX. Everything is done flawlessly and that Anime movie is pretty good. Hell, even the english VAs are half-way decent (The VA for X, is the best US VA for Megaman yet). If you consider yourself an Megaman fan, it's advised that you run out and get this thing, NOW. The movie and X mode alone was worth my $29.99+Tax

Can someone tell me how long the game is?

I love Megaman but I don't know about paying $30 for a short game. I beat most megaman games in a matter of hours (2-4). I'd hate to pay $30 for a game that I will beat in one sitting.

Well I'd say X mode is just as long as the original MMX (say 2-4 hours), I haven't beat Vile mode yet, but couple that with the 20 min anime movie you unlock, along with the MMPU! demo, I'd say total time playing the game would be around 6-8 hours, 10 max (ie, you really suck at Video Games).

This game is bad ass... playing it on hard mode as X right now, and it's providing a decent enough challenge compared to the original... there are also some slight tweaks to the levels.

The graphics are excellent, alot better then the screenshots would leave you to believe, and Capcom seems to have done a great job with the story now - the VA's are excellent.

Megaman Powered Up is going to be a day 1 purchase, as well.

Guess I'll just have to magically play Megaman X on my PSP instead.

After the game sat on my shelf for 2 weeks, I ripped it open yesterday and ended up playing through the entire thing. It's extremely well done and I actually enjoyed it more than the original... so it's definitely a good remake. It retains the feel of Mega Man X very well even with the new engine that the game runs on so I was pleasantly surprised. The anime video that opens up at the end is very good from what I saw (just watched a little bit... it's huge.) and playing as Vile is a nice addition.

I also really liked the Mega Man Powered Up demo... I was on the fence about this game, but after playing the demo, I'm pretty much positive I'll buy it. So in March, Capcom's got me sold on MM Powered Up, Capcom Classics Collection Remixed, and Monster Hunter Freedom.

picked this up a couple days ago. I've only beat about half of the bosses, but I am loving it so far. this game is so much fun portable. I know my time with it will grow, simply because I want to find all the heart pieces and sub tanks.

Why would you want 1.5? Its horrible. Just pay for your games or rent them instead of using an ISO loader. You lose less battery life by upgrading since the disc wont keep spinning when playing emulators etc. Emulation is working pretty stable at 2.6 with the GTA exploit.

Had 2.0, did not like it.

I like being able to go my memory card, click the app and run it like a normal game. Then being able to hit the home button and quit too. I don't remember it working like that on 2.0

Does not' matter, I upgraded. I'm not even going to bother with the GTA hack. The game is not even worth the purchase to play to me.

Yes. Yes you do. The game isn't THAT hard. Ok honestly, it just takes a little to get used to the new Megaman...wait till you start Vile mode. I found the beginning of that mode was insane...then you get the good weapons and it's too easy.
