Any word on if the DS Lite will be able to connect to the GCN?

I think it would be cool if they added GCN/GBA functionality to the DS again with the Lite, since the GBA technology is in there...all you need is a new cable or something, but I have a lot of games I can't try out now because I went DS.

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to deal.

I doubt it. They've said that they're not changing any of the internal hardware or software. I'm assuming that this means that, as with the original DS, the DS Lite will not be compatible with the GCN.

Just wait for the SP to drop in price. It is insanely fun playing connectivity enabled games (Four Swords!!) but the initial shell out in hardware costs is insane.
