Personally these two games r really good but I want to hear about what u think. What do you think will make the next one better (if there is one.)

they both rock. i really love the graphic art style in them, but what makes it even better is the rockin' soundtrack. As for what improvements to be made? i haven't played WLK much (haven't got the time), but from what i've played they needed to keep the on-screen controls for co-op mode so u can see what ur partner is doing. from what i understand, they had to take it out because of copyright issues (that's what i read in egm).
also, maybe they could add more objectives/game types in vs. mode?

I enjoyed the games. My girlfriend loves WLK.

I enjoyed it also but its not one of those games that I would recommend to my friends. I had one play for at least 30 minutes and he thought it was okay but wasn't amazed by it. I liked the graphical art style too.

They're always too short.

Katmari is a breath of fresh air. Not extreme, not underground, not gritty or realistic. Bright colors, simple premise, and just plain fun. The intro to the first game is worth twenty bucks on its own, and the dialog is simply hysterical.
Plus, it has the best character designs and music since the first Super Mario Bros.

Thank you! I thought I was the only one who felt that way!

Both of them were pretty fun for about a week, I haven't played either since then, but it is one of those games you can just pick up and play here and there and still enjoy it.

I love both Katamari games, and my wife loves them too. Its something that we can play together. Plus the fact that it keeps track of objects you have and havent rolled up appeals to the collectaholic in me. ;)

I really enjoy the, but the replay value is pretty limited. I think having a high scores chart where you can enter your name would really help. I mean, trying to beat your own scores is alright, but comparing with others really helps - that's what kept my wife and I playing the New Tetris over and over again.

I have both games and I enjoyed them both very much, especially WLK. They are pretty short though.

I enjoyed Katamari back when it was called Bubbles. (http://thelittons.net/homearcade/Bubbles/)

Once again proving that if something is 20 years or older, you can pass it off as new!

The first one was a blast, but the second one was just alright. Still a great game, but really more of the same. It's the whole game itself that is an experience. The music and great sense of humor is what kept me playing, and the last levels were a blast. I hope Katamari has/will pave the way for more crazy japan games to get over here.

very weird, but at the same time creative, fun, and addicting. I didn't like the soundtrack to the 2nd game that much, but I loved the first one. I hope with the 3rd game they do even more weird/fun things (if that's even possible), and have a soundtrack as strong as the first game.

It's always good to see a new game with some originality come up.

This game is the perfect definition of a game. Its fun, its not trying to be super realistic aka it knows its a game, and its a very enjoyable experience. As for making it better, more levels, more diverse enviornments, maybe a 2-player split screen co-op along the lines of you both make two huge balls and then have to combine them into one.
I have the first one, and I think its decent. The best part of it is really its uniqueness.

I heard you can already do that in the snowball level. *unsure*

Katamari Damacy is the reason for my to pick up a PS2, so yes.
It's fun for a while... then it gets boring.

What about a deathmath multiplayer mode where if you let the opponent get to much bigger than you they could roll you right up?

I'm probably in the minority here, but it had me interested for...about 10 minutes before I sold it.

That's the way the two-player mode works right now. Though it's pretty lame the way it's implemented.
