http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif That performance was definitely not pulled off by a human being... Here's proof:
Why do you think the "specimen" refused to show their face or any other body part for that matter?
Precisely. Not human.
Also, human fingers do not move like they are depicted in this video. They punch the colored buttons with an almost machine-like quality. The precision and speed shows an uncanny resemblance to that of an old fashioned typewriter.
CAGers do not be fooled. What you have witnessed cannot be explained with reason, this "specimen" is beyond human capability.

anybody else notice that the guitar did not move one bit during the entire 4 plus minutes?Yes. The camera was attached to the end of the guitar itself.

The camera is mounted to the head of the guitar.

i really dont see how he did that. Because for one how is he strumming the strings if both hands were on the neck of the guitar?
Just pressing the button down doesnt count...or maybe it doesnt if you play on the hardest level. Something seems a tad bit off.......but it still pretty damn cool.

Myself, im on the last 3 songs on Expert mode, i can get about 50% thru Cowboys, until the solo comes - then im done. If i could use two hands though...8-)

Hammer-ons/Pull-offs. If the notes are following eachother fast enough, you can make one "strum" and just tap the notes one after the other. He's doing HO/PO through the entire video, not just during the solos. It's actually not that hard to pull off with something like CHF, since the entire song is fast-paced successive notes.

Damn that was impressive. I can't believe how long some of those hammer-ons and pull-offs last. I thought you still had to strum every 4 notes or so, but he seems to be able to play like 20 notes per strum.

It's determined by way the actual notes look. If you look closely, the notes you can HO/PO have a white ring around the middle while the notes you have to strum have a black ring around the middle.
They are usually very close together but it is the type of note that determines whether a HO/PO will work or not.
That being said, it is still insane that he is pulling that off since HO/POs require exact timing while strumming gives you a little leeway.

awesome video, but I think he missed a note ;)

The video is fake. During the part when he pulls both hands up to the fret buttons, there's a series of notes that goes Orange, Blue, Yellow, Yellow, Red, Green. You can't Hammer-on/pull-off the same note in a row. It does look damn cool, but it's fake.

My friend uses a clever green-screen for his videos. Though I still think guitar hero vids are really, really geeky.

YEah, that's what it sounds like when I play aslo (well, not quite that fast). I was actually wondering how that first CFH video didn't have that sound. I guess he had the TV sound maxed out? Still, with the camera right there next to the buttons, you'd think you'd hear something.
