I want to know what Capcom is thinking. What happened to the other card system that works with Mortal Kombat cards? Those have only been out for six months or so. Did I waste my money on them?

i'm wondering the same thing. i'm noticing some udon artwook on these new cards, and the mortal kombat cards for epic battles recently were released in hobby stores (both mortal kombat and street fighter previously only exclusive to blockbuster stores). could it be that street fighter is jumping ship to sabretooth?

Epic Battles! Thank you. I couldn't think of the name for the life of me. I don't play it nearly as much as VS, but I really dig the Udon art style. And I'm a Street Fighter whore. So, how could I not play?

My problem is that I'm also a Penny Arcade whore as well. The idea of the Cardboard Tube Samurai vs Ryu makes my smile. But I hate to dump my money in to anoter third rate CCG.

i got the decks today. 1 set of Street Fighter deck and 1 set of Soul Calibur deck. they give u 30 cards for SF and 30 cards for SC. they have doubles. so its like 15 different cards for SF and 15 different cards for SC.

I got some Earth Divide card, which is more or less just Nightmare about to smash the hell out of Ivy with Soul Edge. I gotta say, these are some pretty nice cards. My only beef is with the backs of em...kinda stupid looking, but bleh - not important. I already sent a thank you email to em when I first got the cards, but I'll be sure to do it again since they sent this follow-up letter. Seem like good guys, especially considering this is all free.

I got a letter a couple of weeks ago from them thanking me for taking an interest in their sample decks (mine came probably 3 weeks prior). And in there they said they were giving me a free card of a limited run one. It was a card that belongs to Astaroth, and it had a shiny holographic type look to the border. I don't know what weapon it is as I'm not as home. So everyone might want to keep an eye out for a letter in a plain envelop with that. Personally, I think its really damn cool of them to send out a limited run card out because you asked for a sample deck!
