GameCrazy Special Orders -- How Long Should It Take?

I special ordered a game a little more than a week ago and haven't heard back yet... how long does it usually take Game Crazy to get a game in after it's special ordered?

Did you call them about it? Usually, they should call you the next day after placing the order.

They told me usually a week. I heard back about 4 or 5 days later about Secret of Evermore.

You have to keep in mind that special ordering doesn't mean you'll get it. The harder to find the item, the longer it will probably take to find it and ship it. I suppose if you don't hear from them in another few days they'll probably do whatever you told them when you ordered: keep looking or refund your deposit.

Yeah, not many of those get traded into Game Crazy.

Was DDS 1 part of the recent huge Gamecrazy sale? That might explain your troubles obtaining it.

i was told allow up to 6 weeks . i ordered Gallop racer 2004 and monster rancher 4 coming up on 3 weeks and still nothing..

lucky i found someone here to get me a gallop racer 2004 for Ys
and
found Monster rancher 4 on the B1 G1 Free at gamestop

they charged me 6 bucks per item i ordered BUT you get that money back if your games never come

even with the 6 bucks it pushed

GALLOP to around 20 used great price (fetches 40+ on ebay)
Monster rancher 4 NEW around 13 again another great price

Monster rancher 4 should crash in vaule in anothe rmonth or two as the new monster rancher game hits in APRIL

I'm prolly going to kill the special order... I was gonna do the same thing for Nocturne, but somebody's getting me a sealed copy of that so I'm set there... I should be able to find somebody who'll give me DDS at a semi reasonable price though so yeah...

And for the person who asked if there's a huge fee you have to pay to special order -- it's $6... not that bad.

It took them maybe a week to find me a sealed copy of Phoenix Wright DS, they did not charge anything extra either.

Awesome. I just got a call back from Gamecrazy and they said that they found my new copy of Digital Devil Saga 1... so it should be there in a few days. So it took 2 weeks to find a rarer game which should give ya'll a good indication on how long the process can take.

Finally got that damn game.

dont get your hopes up as it being NEW... i got a phone call about my games last night. Went and picked them up and they call them new , but both are gutted copies (neither of them even have the manuals and both disc are scratched up) and they still charged me the NEW PRICE

they said i got 2 more games coming (same games i ordered 2 of each) Since they are in shipping i cant cancell them CRAP

I've been waiting for about 3 weeks for a xbox copy of F1 2001. The price after the charge was like 21 bucks. They haven't called me at all. What's the max you can have them trying to look for it ?

Also does anyone have an idea how much a copy of Ikaruga goes for at Gamecrazy ?

I went to pick it up today and yeah, it ended up working out well. I got DDS Deluxe new and factory sealed for $20. I love Gamecrazy now.
