View Full Version : Question
Scenario-
Someone pm's you saying theyll pay your asking price on a game. You say cool, they ask for pay pal info. You give it to them and they tell you theyll pay first thing tomorrow. A couple of days go by and nothing. You pm asking whats the deal. Nothing. So you give up and say youll find someone else to deal with. Still nothing. Not even a sorry for wasting your time etc etc.
What would you do from there?
*let me clarify that he has posted since the deal was made but basically went into ignore mode after the priced was agreed upon and payment info was sent.

I'd get over it. Sometimes people just lose interest. Yeah, it's annoying, but it happens and there's really nothing that can be done about it.

Leave a neutral feedback, and move on. If the user happens to reconsider and it's already gone, that's his loss. If he leaves you a neutral feedback, talk to a moderator about it.
Or visit his house and inform his parents... >_>

i wouldn't do anything except for maybe post in the thread he's been posting in recently and ask if he could check his PMs on a trade that you have going on
i wouldn't leave a neutral feedback, that's just stupid IMO...if the deal was agreed upon, okay, i understand a little bit, but the deal wasn't actually in play yet...that doesn't mean i'm encouraging or condoning the act of agreeing on a deal and then ignoring the person, but as long as money/games/etc haven't switched hands yet, i don't think feedback should be left
EDIT: i do know where you're coming from though...it has happened to me before quite a few different times...some people just don't care...i'd like to say that it only involves CAGs who don't get on frequently and have low feedback, but it also has happened a few times with regulars and CAGs who have pretty high feedback

Meh. Personally, I've not left neutral feedback when I had an agreed upon trade fall through, but I'd seen it done so many times on here and TGN (Neutral: User agreed upon trade and didn't follow through) that I thought it was common practice that once it's confirmed, it's confirmed.
But, you're probably right.

it's all good...but at this point, everyone should set up their own terms in there tradelist...if you put a term/rule in your tradelist stating something like: "if a deal is agreed upon and you fail to do your part of the trade, you will receive either a neutral or negative depending on the circumstances"...then everything should be good and noone can complain
sound good? thought so...now get to those terms :D

I say if Money or Items never exchange hands then there should be no problem. Like others said its annoying but as I see it no trade was made.
