You have Drakengard, but no Drakengard 2! :D And I agree with Scorch, you really need to get them in alphabetical order.

How can you find anything in that mess, you need to alphabetize.

Nice rack!

I'll refrain from making any other comments (like, half those games probably aren't worth purchasing).

Wow, and here I thought I was the only one that did that. I alphabetize now, cuz I have so many games, but I used to do them chronologically.

OP, nice collection. Reminds me I still have lots of RPG's to track down.

I posted this in the sale thread as well... I thought that price for Dark Alliance 2 was hilarious, I remember the game not being so hot, but apparent it's on the rare side after looking it up on Ebay.

When did this game become rare / sought after?

Surpringsly, it's one of the few games Gamestop dosen't have on its website... I wonder if its still cheap there, or if they know its rare and gouge people for it.

MightySlacker
02-19-2006, 04:35 PM
because they won't get here until tomorrow or tuesday? The ones pending in arent priced or up for sale until I inspect them.

I was in negotiations with someone to buy the set, and he wanted as many as possible due to being in a different country, and it would be a lot easier for me to get them here and add them in the lot then for him to track them down seperately.

Dark Alliance II was 42.99 at EB, but I think its lowered to 27.99 at both stores. It's been a while since I saw one at Gamestop though

$27.99 - 10% off wouldn't be so bad... opened copies sell for $45 - $55 on Ebay.

When did this become sought after? I hardly ever see anyone mention it. I always had an interest in the game, but never got around to buying it.

Amazingly, the Xbox one isn't worth crap.

Just needed something to do this winter. Figured I'd at least make my money back, if not turn a little profit.

My personal collection is probably about 25 of these games and is seperate. I couldn't bear not having a copy of things like Shadow hearts, Growlanser and Stella Deus around :) - haven't finshed half of them either

lol - yeah, I think collecting might be used a little liberally here. Since most of these are sealed, someone will appreciate them more than I will (or want to sit on them for a while). Since this money will go towards a DS with a nice set of games, a laptop and some other toys, I just see it as exchanging some things I'm not using for things I will use.

It seems like you are missing around 20 rpgs from a complete RPG collection for the ps2 do you have that many rpgs still pending/incoming?

Anyway to everyone saying how alphabetical is best I disagree. I have over 1,000 games from this generation alone and I keep them all in chronological order at time of purchase. This allows me to instantly find any game i'm looking for when im in the mood to play a game. especially since I buy many games as soon as they come out.

20 Games? Can you name the titles? Seems like he has a hell of a less than that to still get.

How can Demon Stone be considered a RPG? Isn't it exactly like the LOTR games (not third age) which are straight up action?

I don't see Choro Q.

Can't think of any others.

I used to be the same way, but then I had a divine realization that I know the alphabet, so I could still immediately find stuff if my stuff was alphabetized.

Sure, aside from the ones I have pending, theres some borderline. Some people consider Dark Angel Vampire Apocalypse and Fallout Brotherhood of steel action rpgs. There's the harvest moon games. Also Inuyasha cursed mask is an rpg

Reason I don't plan on alphabetizing anytime soon is that everytime I bought a new game I'd have to rearrange half of my games. If I had some nice long shelves it wouldn't be a problem, but when your shelving unit fits 11 games in each partition, you'd spend 20 minutes moving them in and out. And looking at my spending tab, that would have involved many hours the last few months. I'll wait till my current-gen shopping list is complete.

I love you for the High Fidelity reference.

But anyway, that's pretty cool for a hobby. I'm guessing it was en expensive one, but it's something I'd do if I could afford it, although I'd keep the games.

If X-Men Legends 1 - 2 are in that list, along with Dark Alliance 1 - 2, Demon Stone should also be considering an RPG... an action RPG, but still an RPG.

I always thought Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel was an action RPG MightySlacker... why is it not?

schuerm26
02-20-2006, 07:05 PM
then why wouldn't you consider the Lord of the Rings games? They are the exact same as Demon Stone.

The Fallout game is very very similar to Baldur's Gate games. That should be included.

I consider the LOTR games action rpg's, since your characters are leveling up and you are distrubuting points, similar to the X-Men Legends games.

Straight up action brawlers are like... Final Fight, no stat progession, no numbers to worry about.
