So, when I moved, I didn't realize strategy guides would one day be super valuable... I packed up all my stuff, old magazines, books, etc etc, in a ton of boxes.

So, I moved, everything got put in different places, alot of stuff got lost deep inside a gigantic pile in the garage. Here's the worst part: In one of those boxes, there are a ton of rare snes guides (all are official), including:

Chrono Trigger
Super Mario RPG
Secret of Evermore
Secret of Mana (maybe, don't remember if owned this one or not)
Final Fantasy 3
Earthbound
Donkey Kong Country 2 (not rare, but still gone)

Maybe in the next few days I'll dig until I find it... still can't believed I misplaced this box almost two years ago, and just now realized that these guides are actually worth something, and it just crossed my mind that "Hey, I own these somewhere".

I feel for you, I'm still missing my original nes, which is the first sytem I ever had (have the toploader, which I bought because I thought the original was broken but instead I had just switched it to channel 4), my sms model 2 (have the first model) and anywhere from 20-60 games for it (no idea, just know that I have like 12 left, most of which were duplicates and therefore not kept at the store). They were all in my familys store and got packed up, all I know is they left the store. I tried to find them this year (about 5 after it closed) and I can't find them anywhere. I assume they're still somewhere where I could find them if I just knew where.

Years ago (before I knew it was worth anything), I let my neighbors kids borrow my copy of Earthbound along with the guide. I got the game back but never got the guide. Too bad they've since moved or else I'd go get it back. Also when I was in high school, I stored all my old boxes in my closet and my mom was complaining about me having too much crap in my closet. Naturally, I trashed the boxes to Earthbound, my SNES, my CDX, Nomad, etc. Needless to say I've learned my lesson.

So booyah... I found a couple!

Chrono Trigger (original snes guide)
Donkey Kong Country 2 (original snes guide)

And here's a major score:

The original "How to win at Super Mario Bros" and "Tips and Tricks" guide for Super Mario Bros and Legend of Zelda for the NES!

All I need to do now is find my FF 3, Earthbound, Super Mario RPG, and whatever else I might have and I can rest well at night.

You'd best find the Earthbound guide! One of the most well-written and composed guides evar!11! The Lunar guides are second to it, of course.

+1. I also have the box(luckily one of the few I was smart enough to save). I really regret throwing those things out .

Speaking of lost stuff, I had a box of Sega, NES, and SNES games that I lost when I moved into my old house 7 years ago.
