Gamestop's store locator now incorporates EBgames stores

Found a pleasant surprise today... Gamestop's online store locator now has all of EBgames stores on it, in addition to Gamestop's.

This makes searching for those rare / hard to find games SO MUCH EASIER, as EBgames old locator was a POS and they never kept OOS games up.

I wonder if this is some kind of omen for the EBgames website, since they don't have a store locator at all now...?

I noticed that today too. Unfortunately it doesn't work and it still doesn't show EB's stock. It was amusing searching for madden 2005, and seeing every gamestop have 4+ copies and none of the EB stores having any

Just tried it as well, none showed up for me either.

Mine is 33710... works perfectly fine. I did it for Magna Carta, it showed one EB 31 miles away had it.

This is good news,I was getting tired waking for the Ebmourning updates to see if a game in stock near my location.I generally use this to locate complete game.It's time to look for all those rare games valkyrie profile,suikoden ii,disney ddr,world of outlaws,nintendogs best friends,classic mario,phoenix wright,barbie horse adventures and other rare junk

Yeah, its definitely not fully integrated. There is maybe one EB for every two GameStops around here, but only one shows up within 10 miles (the one right next to me). Two or three others I know are within ten miles aren't on the list yet.

No,it wasn't.It just started today or I mean yesterday since pass midnight.I always check everyday to see if they have valkyrie profile .

edit-opps didint read correctly you can see what game are found in the store locator before it was just gamestop.Now it include both stores of eb and gamestop

Maybe it's only showing the EB stores that aren't going to be closed once the consolidation happens? I.e. not including those stores that are right next to a Gamestop, and are thus going to be shuttered soon.

This is referring to putting in your zipcode on GameStop.com game page to see if a game is in stock locally... it now shows some EB Games stores' inventory.

I'm still surprised that it doesn't work for some.The store locator still isn't accurate I look up phoenix wright and the locator say there is one nearby.I went to the store,it was only a display or gut copy and have to pay for it new rather then used.
