everytime this guy talks I never feel like he's wasting my time. Always straight to his point and confident about it. It's nothing new that this E3 was probably going to be the real showing of Revolution's power, but at least it's official now.

I think Reggie is a very good speaker for Nintendo.

EDIT: I hope they decide to keep 'Revolution' as their console name, though they probably won't.

I hope so too. I think it'd work well.
Didn't Nintendo insist for the longest time that "DS" was a code name?

Someone tell Reggie that "Revolution" is a name with which to take names and kick asses.

That'll show Nintendo.

Yeah it's hard to stand behind people at MS and Sony, even though I love the PS2 library. Reggie represents the closest thing to my gaming ideal.

I am really excited for the new DS and the Revolution.

Well, all of the GameCube games will be compatible only with GameCube accessories, so whether it’s a WaveBird or whether it’s a wired controller, you’ll only be able to play those titles with those accessories. Essentially what we’re saying is that Revolution titles are the only ones that will leverage the new controller.

You heard it here first. NO Rev controller support for Twilight Princess.

And yet in the interview in this month's EGM, Reggie as good as says that playing Twilight Princess on the Rev will do SOMETHING ... so if it's not controller support ... then what? Hrm...

Better graphics and Nude Link mode open from the start.

Maybe, or maybe he's referring to the whole backlog of games for the cube and not the exception to the rule that was programmed for both. Only time will tell :)

If people are complaining now about the DS Lite, they will complain even more when the DS Lite Brite SP comes out.

I wouldn’t say that that’s an unreasonable assumption. Look at how many times we’ve improved on the Game Boy Advance in terms of the look, the feel, screen changes, and everything else. We believe that type of constant innovation is critical to driving this industry, and certainly if you look at the world wide sales of Game Boy Advance, I don’t think anyone would disagree.

I don't like how Reggie and Parrin always avoid questions... but the interview was pretty good.

I can't wait until E3... I'm going to be glued to my computer for a good while.:D This year's E3 will be one of the biggest of all time.

He didn't really avoid many questions, unless they regard information they aren't allowed to divulge, primarily what they will be releasing at E3.

Same here. That's like #3 on my most want to see at E3 list. The Revolution controller being used for an actual game and launch title list for it being the other 2.

No.

The name DS came from the fans after Nintendo said it would use two screens. The codename for the DS came out after the DS was released. Niro or something close to that was the codename.

May's gonna be a crazy month.

Serious news about the Revolution AND the possible launch of the DS Lite. Just gotta get through two more months of classes before I get to experience true bliss.

Don't forget about the return of a side-scrolling Mario Bros. platformer!

Nitro.
Wasn't it first known as "DS" and then Nintendo sent "Nitro" dev kits out?
