Has anyone seen any news related to Odama's release date? It was initially scheduled for 3/6, but EB/GS have changed that to 4/10. I was going to preorder this at GR, but I don't want to lock up $50 credit for the month of March, nor do I want to miss the release and find out they didn't order any.

I wouldn't be surprised... Chibi Robo and Odama seem like nothing more than filler titles since there's basically even less on the GC this year than there was last year (and there wasn't much last year).
Speaking of GC games, or lack of, whatever happened to Pennant Chase Baseball?

My Game Informer says that Nintendo said that it was pushed back to May. However, their review is still based on the final retail version. The Review wasnt very good.

Yeah, that sounds like the quality GI stuff people seem to love. That magazine is a joke.

Well Odama does seem like a strangely-playing game, even to me. I have my doubts about it.

Unceremoniously cancelled last year for whatever reason. No real reason given.

I heard it uses the microphone and a standard controller. Was it originally microphone/bongo combo?

I've still heard rumblings that the bongos will be used by a second player, but nothing official one way or another.

I like the idea, it kinda reminds me of Alien Crush for the tg16. I also smell a future rare and sought after game...

I'm still looking forward to it. I didn't think much of the GI review (though they do occasionally get it right, we'll have to see). They didn't like the fact that it was hard to control a giant pinball and avoid killing your own people... when that is one of the points of the game.
And it's got Nintendo puns... how can you not like that?
Just noticed these videos:

Rumour is it will come out for the Rev. Nintendo didn't really can it, just stopped talking about it.

Chibi-Robo is *not* filler... it's turning out to be one of the better action/adventure games I've ever played. The humor in the game is pretty killer (the story line with Sunshine the Bear is awesome) and the game looks, sounds, and controls beautifully.
Anyway, I thought the consensus was that Penant Chase Baseball got axed because there was no way to bring it out in time for the annual baseball video game rush and also because Nintendo felt it would cannibalize some sales of Mario Superstar Baseball.
