Im disappointed that they are using the same costume just black. They should have changed it. Its supposed to be a symbiote on him, they should have made it look cooler more alien-like.

I would love to see venom as the next focus of the movies. He is by far my favorite Spiderman enemy. Carnage wouldn't hurt either.

In other words... Spidey remembers his suit looking a certain way (the scaley look with risen webs) and so the suit makes itself look like that (except black).

Yeah but where's the spidy we all know and love. Atleast they should have made his emblem white. Unless its not visible on the pic.

BTW: OP should change title. The pic in no way looks live Venom. He may be appearing in the movie but the picture is clearly of Spider-Man.

Is it? I think they couldn't get the black one finished so they just put tobey on a pedestal with his normal costume, shot it, and then wiped out the color. In a dark enough room with the proper light angle I think it could've been done that way.

STOP THE WHINING!!!! :rofl: Everytime a director goes a different direction in reguards to a well known/developed franchise they get reamed on message boards and throughout the media. I am a diehard fanboy of Spidey and credit him for my love of comics, but Rami has done nothing to bring about such doubt. Sure it doesn't resemble the symbonite/black costume us comic lovers have come to expect, but neither did Green Goblin in the first movie and that worked out fine. Once we see Spidey in action in the costume we will all forget what the costume is suppose to look like.

I heard something that might be true, if you look in spidermans eyes you can see a reflection of venom. You can kind of make something out, but it might be nothing.
