The worst game I ever played was the Ring: Terror's Realm for Dreamcast. That game just completely sucked all together, I didn't even play for 10 minutes because it was just bad all the way around. What is the worst game you ever played?

10 mins of play time or 10 mins of watching movies?

Well, Daikatana for the N64, of course, but I'd like to put in a special mention for Vanishing Point on DC. I'm horrible at racing games in the first place, but even I know there was something terrible wrong with the game.

Sorry but this game on the DC was one of the best racing games ever made. I am a racing game fan and VP totally had me hooked. Excellent game all the way.

If you want bad racing games for the Dreamcast, how about Spirit of Speed 1937? It seems back then cars were completely uncontrollable.

I need to download a complete save file for it, I think. I'm guessing a lot of the problems I had with it are from the stank-ass cars they start you out with.

My most disappointing game has to be...Resident Evil 2 for the PSone.

This game was supposedly reviewed as a good game when it first came out by various different websites, so I bought it as a gift for my husband for Xmas. I had never played a Resident Evil game before and I was like "cool, you get to kill monsters and blow up zombies! My guy is so gonna love this!"

Its Xmas morning, and my whole family was visiting. My husband pops in the game and plays it first. After 90 mins he was like, "um errrr honey you need to try it." He didnt look too happy, so I started playing it. It totally sucked! Crappy camera angles, difficult controls, and sucky weapons with never enough freaking ammo.

Totally frustrated, I called my sister in to give the game a go. She was totally pissed off and frustrated in less than and hour and gave up too. She let her son play it, and he was done in less than half an hour.

Finally, we gave the game to my nephews at the end of the day. They had just got a PS for Xmas and only had a couple games for it at the time. And at the end of the week their parents took the game away and threw it in the trash. They told me the game had their kids so pissed off that they actually broke a controller by throwing it at their TV screen.

The thing was, I paid $50 for that piece of crap, and no one got any enjoyment out of it whatsoever (not for our lack of trying). We would have had more fun watching that money flush down the toilet. How could anyone like this game?

That Empire Strikes Back game for the NES. Jesus Christ, since when is forcing a player to traverse a convoluted, infuriatingly designed maze of drab white caverns a developer's idea of "fun"? Granted, I was six when I played it, but I wasn't a bad gamer then. It was just a bad game, and I gave up after seven minutes of traveling in circles and getting thwacked by a stick-figure snow creature.

WordStar for CP/M and DOS systems. There was no winning scenario, only an infinite number of keystroke combos to achieve ever more elaborate formatting effects. Nothing short of a NYT #1 bestseller would make the final boss appear.

Most of you may be surprised but its true its very bad to me, and that game would be FF8. That game is truly horrible. Its easy the magic system is vomit and the summons take three days to finish there attacks. And Squall with is gun sword whatever its called, and in battle you have to hold on the R1 button for the trigger crap. its horrible. You could tell me otherwise but i'll stick with my choice later.[/img] :x

I would say Hydlide on the NES is the worst game I've played. I hate that game to death!!!

Murakumo: Renegade Mech Pursuit. Looked like a good mech game, until I played it. Basically you are hunting down one specific mech while dodging various buildings, and other hazards. The mechs are underpowered and mostly useless. Control is retched. Overall, the absolute crappiest XBox game I have ever played. Anyone want to trade?

Secret of Evermore

I thought this was supposed to be a good square RPG?

I thought Secret of Evermore was a decent game. I don't think it belongs on the best-ever list, but it was not that bad.

Simpsons Wrestling was a pretty bad game. ET for Atari was probably the worst though. I still have no idea what you were supposed to do in that game...

oh Sh**...Drake of the 99 Dragons! A shame to the Xbox...I just remembered this shaq-fuing terrible game that redefines everthing bad about games.

Its worse than shaq-fuing superman 64!! Its like a playable version of hemorrhoids to the senses.... ARRRRRRR..

..it comes with a comic book.

...its 'xbox only' ...(who the hell came up with that?)
its average score: 25%
i watched a couple of the gameplay videos...and this game had me laughing tears. Its so bad its funny.

Hey, don't knock Secret of Evermore. I actually liked that game. And it was good to see Square of America make a game on their own. There's this one game on the NES, its a vertical shooter... and you shoot bunnies that launch carrot missles (and no it isn't Parodious)... I don't know about the suck factor on that game, but it was definately wierd.
As for Superman 64, that game rules (it's alot better than Mary Kate and Ashley Olson games). However, there are some accessories that you must purchase to enjoy it.
1). Either rum or a quarter sack (I don't smoke it, but for you potheads out there in CAG land)
2). Some friends that aren't douche bags
3.) A big TV

Those three things are key. You'll be surprised at how your skills at the game INCREASE with your intoxication level. You'll love it!

That game was a blasphemous insult to the greatness known as the Goonies!!! Those bastards.....

I do own E.T. on the Atari 2600. And yes I have played it... more than once. It's just another one of those games that require special gaming "accessories" (alcohol) to fully enjoy. And yes, the legend is true... more than a million copies were buried in the Southwest desert (I think Arizona)

Oh man, I love Lagoon so much. I understand why many would hate it, it has a shitty plot and makes no sense at all, but I love it all the same.

The worst game I have ever played is either Superman: Shadow of the Apolcaypse (or whatever the ps2/gc game was called) and Goldeneye: Rogue Agent.
