Not bad... I might go with that and drop True Swing Golf off my list of things to buy. Only need one golf game.
Not a bad deal at all. I don't know how good the game is, but a decent price.

Must have skipped reading that one in the thread. I think I'm gonna have to browse through that once more before I head out tonight.

Nice deal. If I didn't need the money to get GRAW I would buy it.

Great price if you can get by the swing mechanic. I got this from ebgames.com for 10 or 15 bucks some months ago, and it's fairly terrible. I just can't stand the touch-swing "draw a J" mechanic. If it had a hotshots (or mario golf) style tap-tap-tap option it would be soooo much better.
I haven't tried the other DS golf game, I think this one reviewed better, but like I said, terrible swing mechanic--it's one of those "we used the touch screen because it's there, not because it's better with it" games.

Just going by reviews, I'm waiting to get True Swing, which got like a 9.8 out of 10 from most reviews. Tiger woods DS got something like a 4.0 out of 10. The reviewers said it seemed to be rushed into production to meet a deadline and it's terrible. The fact that it's $10 new at a lot of different stores makes me believe the reviews.

Yeah i have heard that True Swing is alot better then Tiger Woods in almost every catagory. Shame because this is a great deal.

This is a good alternative if Target falls through for me. Thanks.

I tried True Swing Golf at a Wal-Mart display. I whiffed the ball seven out of eight times. I really wish tap-tap-tap was an option.

Both games are awesome, I have both. I actually liek the Treu Swing Mehcanic better, but TW is good too. Graphics on true swing are brighter and better though. But no real golfers.
I love this game. I played it more than any of my other DS games. The touch-screen control is great. The reason why it sucks at first is because you have to LEVEL UP YOUR STATS! Give the swing meter a try, and you'll end up loving this game like me. For $7.49, you cant go wrong with the best golf game ever (sorry, Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee and Mario Golf Advance Tour!).
You'd be a fool to go by the reviews of this game. GI didnt realise that you need to level up your stats, it seemed like they just rushed through it - but when is GI ever right? I dont trust their reviews at all.

I bought it from EB over the summer for $10 new. I put over 25 hours into the game. At first I hated it but as I played it more I liked it a lot more. There are some bugs and glitches but if you like golf games, it's well worth the $7.50 used or $10 new.
The fact that it's $10 new at a lot of different stores makes me believe the reviews.
I think that's also because it's an old game (in terms of sports games). The game box says Tiger Woods PGA Tour but the cartridge says 2005 on it so it's basically last year's sports game which always gets marked down.

All these mixed reviews are annoying me. I'm about to start a thread in the DS forum to see which golf game is better.

I picked this up from Target for $14.99 (feel so ripped off! :)
It is not a bad golf game at all! Actually, I am quite addicted to it once I got used to the putting (which is rather simplistic). Other than that, the driving game can be fun and sometimes, I completely whiff the ball, hehe! I recommend it unless you are a videogame golf conoisseur.
