When you said in the payment terms: "Payment must be made immediately via Paypal."

Why not just turn on immedieate payment required then?, so they have to pay right away or else they can't buy it

Alright, first it should be said that I'm a history grad student. So, I decided to order a book that had a bunch of essays on the rise of hitler. I order from this guy and I never receive the book for about a month. I kept on contacting him and he gave the run around. So, I gave him a negative. Turns out that the day I neg him is the day that I receive the book. He calls me threatening to sue me because this was his business, or something like that, and I slandered him for giving him a negative when he didn't deserve it.

I contacted ebay and they said they wouldn't change the negative, so in retaliation he called me a "neo-nazi kook" I believe. I was pissed about it at first since I was the one who didn't deserve it, but I got over. The guy got about 5 negatives from people complaining about how slow his shipping was, then he changed his name a couple of times. I don't think he sells anymore on ebay.

So that is why I'm a neo-nazi!!!

I'll do that. This was first time selling something and I didn't know what I was doing.

You could have complained to EBay about that negative feedback and I think it would have been removed since that they say they will remove feedback that:
"The Feedback contains profane or vulgar language, or adult material. Inflammatory language, such as "fraud, liar, cheater, scam artist, con man" etc. is strongly discouraged, but will not be removed. "

I think what he called you would be considered profane.

I did. In fact, I did repeatedly. But they kept on saying they wouldn't do it because of "freedom of speech" or some crap. I don't know, I got over it.

That's ridiculous that EBay wouldn't remove it, I mean if that's not profane and vulgar what is?!

I totally agree, but they wouldn't do anything about it. It made me mad at first, but like I said I got over it.

Not much of a deal EBGames sells you everything you have listed for just over $300, you may get $225 at best.

Thanks for that!

I know you can get it all at eb for 300, or you can get it from me for 280! I really just posted it because of the .10 listing.

Seriously, though, thanks for the threadcrap!

A threadcrap would be a negative post that offered no real information or alternative. amos_82 actually gave pretty exact numbers and sources. That's not a threadcrap, it's comparison shopping.

You don't delist it, you just end it. There's an option in your My Ebay list. You have to choose from the list of reasons and "sold outside ebay" isn't one of them.

I don't have anything listed currently so I can't give you a step by step, but here's eBay's instruction page: http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/end_early.html
