What will be the first truly bad game for X360?

Okay, I've played just about everything that is out for the 360 (excluding some of the sports games), and right now I would have to say that every game on the system is enjoyable.

March looks like it's going to be a great month for releases as well and it has me wondering when the first bad game will emerge. Granted, I may not be as picky as some and I'm not saying every 360 game is excellent, but so far they are all good.

This may be attributed to the fact that there aren't any of the bargain developers/publishers releasing games yet, but I think normally when you are 20+ games into a new system there are at least a couple of stinkers.

I think it also is helping that the 360 isn't seen as a system for kids to play on at the moment so we aren't seeing all of the poorly developed licensed games.

Every Party was reportedly pretty bad. NHL 2k6 and Madden both have horrible bugs, aren't much of an improvement graphically, and are downgrades in most other categories.

If we're talking Drake, New Legends, Bruce Lee, Kabuki Warriors bad I would like to think that the days of $50-60 crap on a platter are behind us.

FIFA is an absolute mess. EA did a wholly uninspired job on their launch stuff. Gun, while not as bad as those in the last paragraph was nothing but a port. So yeah, that's inexcusable but bad?

You're going to start seeing budget line games in 2-3 years like AMF Bowling, Ford vs. Chevy, Big Mother Truckers, Pinball Madness etc. The crap will come.

I think outside of movie titles meeting strict deadlines (Enter the Matrix) the days of passing off crap on a disc at full price are behind us. Of course I said that at the start of the PSone, N64, Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox and Cube launches. Never seems to happen.

It's much harder to look at a game budget of $3 million and think you can pass off crap that will sell as opposed to $300,000. The market is just to smart.

NHL 2K6 is a GREAT game, just has the "franchise" bug...which might be getting worked out. Madden is average also, needs some refinement for sure.

The Outfit seems GREAT...I love how we all speculate. Just like people pooped on Full Auto, and that turned out to be fun.

Madden was the worst game I think I've ever played. There were so many bugs it was unplayable. It froze on me on average 1/3 games. You couldnt challenge plays. There was ONE camera angle (this is ridicilous). Also there was a season glitch, I was on week 16 or 17 (cant remember) and the CPU wouldnt simulate the Jets game so I couldnt finish my season. I even tried to play their game and it wouldnt let me do that either. This is why I hate that EA has the NFL liscense :(

We already had one in the form of Quake IV. The game was shitty to begin with in terms of its design, but the sheer amount of graphical problems like the inexcusable amount of slowdown made it a terrible game.

Full Auto is pretty bad but if the physics system had been tweaked a little more it would be a lot better.

Quake IV also has a lot of glitches but nothing that breaks the game.

So far, of the games I've played, I'd say Madden is the worst. That game is just a mess.

Now for the point of the thread, I think I'll agree with the person who said The Darkness. It really doesn't look like its going to be any good. The Godfather seems like it might have the potential to be pretty crappy as well. Some people might suggest Tomb Raider Legends but I think that it might just surprise people. Then again, the others have been pretty bad. I think I'll say its either going to be amazing or absolutely horrible but I'm leaning more toward amazing.

Worst game I played so far is NBA live 06.

I think the next title that is not taking advantage of the 360s power is going to be Dynasty Warriors 5. The video on the game is horrible.

I really enjoyed Quake 4 and I think that the framerate issue is a little exaggarated there is a little slow down here and there but nothing that makes the game unplayable.

I also enjoy playing Full Auto. It is good clean fun. The soundtrack glitch is annoying though.

I've only had my 360 for a few days, but out of the games and demos I've played so far, I definitely like Full Auto the least.....I haven't spent much time with Madden yet, so that might change :)

Amen. The controls are the worst ever. If anyone listens to Major Nelson, I laughed out loud when he had the Rare tester on and when he was asked "What about the people that think the controls, especially for Blue, are really bad." to which he responded, "For Blue, its easier if you invert the axis on your controller when you enter the water, and switch it back when you leave." Here's a crazy idea, how bout some actual play testing to determine that the player shouldn't have to change anything mid-game. My god, it was in development for almost 6 years and somehow it looks and plays like a 12 month cycle.

As for Full Auto its definately not ground breaking but it can be fun. I enjoyed playing it but it would be more towards the bottom of my list of games enjoyed

i didn't have my ignrnt rick tag when i had kameo. i used bboys86 which for some reason i couldn't transfer over to my 360... then i found out it had been cancelled somehow. so yes i played kameo (it was the frist game i had) but not with that gamertag.

i didn't mean to be a dick it's just that i work at a game store so alot of people come in asking what 360 games are good. i tell them kameo is pretty damn good and i get the same responses "that game is gay cause it looks like a kids game" and when i try to tell them to try it in the store and they just kind of laugh.

Xbox 360 is no longer next-gen. It is this-gen. And therefor, in my opinion, all good X360 titles should play like it. If an Xbox 360 game plays like an old Xbox game, then isn't it out of date?

Then again, I didn't buy Gun (already beat it on xbox), THAW, or any of EA's sports games.

I haven't really played any of them yet that I thought were "bad". I only played one game of Madden. I like Quake 4 , but am not that far into it. Out of the games I have purchased, I have been the most disapointed in DOA4. It's not a bad game, I was just hoping for more. Followed by PD0.

Timeshift looks like an even shittier Project Snowblind. If I had to bet, I would put my money on Timeshift as being the first truly bad 360 game. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat has the potential to be very bad as well, if they don't fix practically everything about the Xbox/PS2 version in this one.

I have hope for Saint's Row. It's being developed by Volition, who also developed Red Faction 1 & 2, as well as The Punisher; three games that I really, really enjoyed and feel are vastly underrated.

I loved Kameo. I thought the graphical quality is one of the tops for the 360 release.

But this goes to show you that one person may love it, another may hate it.. just like anything out there.

It is all completely subjective, so even a thread saying what will be the first truly bad game for the 360, is only based on each person's tastes... so I doubt we'll get 100% agreement on any game.

As much as I loved the comic back when it came out, I had written off the game until I realized this fact a couple of weeks ago. Definitely restored my hope that the game will be something worth playing.
