i am trying to link my pc to tv to watch avi files on tv.

i have a video card that has video output..
do you hook the video output to tv? how do i link the sound?

if there is any expert on this.. please help~ thank you

What you need is a cable with s-video(from your gfx card tv-out) and a 3.5mm audio jack(from your sound card) BOTH wired into a scart connector. This will give you picture and sound BUT tour TV must support Scart-S or AV-s(MOST DO)to further ilustrate, HERES A LINK...

MAKE SURE YOU ONLY HAVE VERY SLIGHT 'FLICKER FILTER' ON OR YOUR PICTURE QUALITY IS POOR!!!

Choose clone view then use something like 'powerDVD' it'll play most vids on TV-out.

Also if you are interested in gaming, buy a good RF wireless joypad and u have urself an Xbox360 quality console on ya TV for cheap :-)
