"Electronic Arts announced today that it has shifted the release date of Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for the Xbox 360 from March 15th to April 11th. EA said in a statement:
The game is complete and in the final phases of testing at this moment. The new ship date is not related to product development, but rather to place BF2MC in the best possible launch window.
Electronic Arts also confirmed that there will be a multiplayer of the demo and explained that the postponement will allow gamers to playtest the game before it hits store shelves:
[the delay] will also give players more time to enjoy our action-packed multiplayer demo, which will be available in mid-March via Xbox Marketplace. "
