They charge shipping by the pound because I guess they can make more money that way than charging by the item.

It used to be $3.99 for shipping plus $1.50 an item. I remember ordering an electric slot car race set for $17.49 from them and it came in a gigantic box and probably weighed at least 10 pounds. I'm sure they lost money on shipping something like that.

they'll get more back in so keep checking. when KB offers free shipping, these sell out fast. and yes, these sticks are shipped in a big box because the stick is huge, the box is the size of a standard briefcase.

These are fairly large and shippers charge by the pound not KBToys. They dont make extra money because it weighs 8 pounds...it just costs more to ship. I just paid a $6000 Fedex bill from December. Shipping costs kill just about any profit I make so I know that $3.99 is tough to keep. My average shipping cost for a box is about $6 yet I have a $3.99 special and I also have some free shipping coupons. I know a lot of people complain because shipping is $6-$7 but actually...that's the cost and there isnt any handling charge added to that. Fedex and UPS have been steadily raising rates for a few years and with the cost of Gasoline higher the shippers have added a Fuel Surcharge. Sorry for the rant I just thought to correct your assumption.

I got one of these sticks, and to my disappointment, it does not work with my Super Duelbox USB adaptor. Also, when reviewers say that the stick is in a square recess, they mean square, not octogonal like I assumed.

As for the durablility, I haven't really pounded on it yet.

markman, if you dont use it for fighting games what do you use it for? a couple of shooters? you sound positive regarding the stick but not in regards to its intended use

Ordered only one myself, got here fine. Used it with Mortal Kombat and it worked well enough. Battousai1002 were you actually charged for two?

bastards cancelled my order, but shipped my kof separately. thing is, without the sticks i don't wanna buy kof right now. i only did it cause i was already paying for shipping. they will go to hell for this.
