Was just browsing through EBgames.com, and noticed that they have discounted the new copies of the Arc the Lad for PS2 down to $12.99... only 74 in stock as of time of posting...check out:

It's still sealed, as my PS2 broke last year.

Thing is, I played the game for about an hour, in my local store, and didn't get it.

It doesn't look that great.

It didn't feel to good, nor was the battle system any fun.

I guess I'll have to wait until the unit drops to $99.

i stand by what i said, i feel atl:tots was the best game released in 2003

the presentation of the story was great, the characters had a nice charm to them, and the battle system was really really well done, ive never seen another system like it (3d strat rpg)

did i say you had to like it? no. hate it if you want, i dont care, still the best to me ^^

yea...thats the reason i got arc the lad in the first place...b/c of the battle system...i love strat rpgs like fire emblem and stuff and i saw a video of a battle in arc the lad and it looked cool so i got it :D

Arc The Lad Twilight of the Spirits is probably my game of 2003...if not my favorite PS2 game. It's one of the best. I cannot even put in words how much of a good time I had with this master piece of a game. Biggest Sleeper hit of all time. I love Disgaea to death but this game knocks the socks off it.

I was debating it at first, but $13 before shipping seems like a good price, even if it has to sit on the shelf for later. The reviews mentioning the strategy-rpg-like gameplay tipped the balance.
