I voted audioslave, mostly because its the only one of those I have heard of. I actually like Rage against the Machine better with Chris Cornell because he has a much better voice than Zach de La Rocha (sp?). But I listen to hip hop so I really am not very infromed on most of the music you listed.

I recommend the CD "ReadySexGo" by the Marvelous 3. Rocks from beginning to end.

None. Audioslave will never amount to what Rage or Soundgarden did.

I got Coheed recently and I'll tell you, that is some of the scariest **** I've ever heard in my life. (Ex. "Pull the trigger and the pain stops" - and that is a tame example)
Plus it's emo, which is rarely good.
I'll admit that it has some good sound work with the actual music (plus their singer's voice is insane), but the emo edge and the creepy depressing lyrics really turned me off.
I recommend The Darkness - Permission To Land, Jet - Get Born, or Led Zeppelin!
You can never go wrong with Zeppelin.

SOAD does have some freaky lyrics but not too bad, and LP is pretty clean.

Out of all of those albums, I'd go with Hot Hot Heat. The vocalist gets kind of annoying, but they have the most well written songs by far.
From what I heard, IMA robot sounds like they're biting Les Savy Fav a bit too much. Yeah, pick up Les Savy Fav. Very very excellent.
Screw Jet. Garage rock is played out. By yourself a White Stripes record you don't have, or check out the Trauma Queens. http://www.thetraumaqueens.com
Audioslave f#cking sucks. Rage was great, Soundgarden was great (at times), but this combination of bands has brought out the worst qualities from both projects.
If anyone namedrops Coheed or Thursday, I'll vomit. Emo was played out in 1996 when I first got into it. It took me a few years and a 3 year stint at a radio station reviewing (and selling) hundreds of cds to figure it out, but emo blows. If you must mope about girls or your tuff life, buy a Sunny Day or an Embrace album.

Get Audioslave if you like to listen to the same monotone voice over and over song after song...
Honestly, if you like this type of music, consider getting Queens of the Stone Age's 2nd album titled "Rated R". It's one of the best albums from this genre.
Also checkout Radiohead's "OK Computer", all of Radiohead's albums were instant classics, the man has a gift.
Out of the four, I'd try something new and unheard of. Ima Robot does the job well.
My band/artist of the week: Queens of the Stone Age and Gary Jules.
Hope my input helps.

Get Hot Hot Heat, it's definitely the best of those. Ima Robot is good also. DO NOT get Audioslave, they're horibble.

I voted Audioslave. Not because they are good, which they are, but because I have never heard of the other bands.
