It's just a controller dev kit, but a dev kit none-the-less. The most interesting thing they say is that the controller is kind of small. Hm, I have large hands. I hope this isn't a problem for me.

Wow, that thing is tiny. More proof Nintendo is marketing this towards the people who have always spent the most money on gaming: old ladies, little kids, and midgets.

Because obviously you know how comfortable it feels due to your extensive experience with using the controller.

Something to consider is that this may be the Japanese version of the controller. I'm not sure how much, iv ever, Nintendo has done it, but I know Sony made the original PS1's controller larger for American audiences since they traditionally have larger hands than Japanese. MS developed the Controller S for the Japanese market, as well. So we might see something differently sized.

Yes, yes I do. I know that thing is about the size of my stereo remote, which I have always hated. I don't need to feel something to know if I like it or not. I've never received anal sex, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like it.

Maybe it could be a little bigger for Americans, but that seems about the right size, it is a one-handed remote. My TV remote is about that big and it seems like a good size to me.

More ASSumptions...

Two things: It's plugging into the GameCube, and it doesn't have batteries. Two things (wireless transceiver and batteries) that could drastically change the form of the controller. It's an early prototype for crying out loud. We don't even know how its size compares to the unit shown at E3, since apparently IGN didn't see it.
And I have a feeling it will probably need to be smaller than anticipated, since how else are you going to use all those buttons with one hand? Use your palm?

I know someone that's been to Nintendo since they unveiled it and got to try those game demos...he said he was surprised at how small it was, but once he started to use it, it was surprisingly comfortable and he forgot all about it. I'm not worried about the size at all.

So, uhm, size doesn't matter?
Anyway, I was surprised that nobody has made an IGN joke yet, so here goes... "IGN received a Revolution dev kit... Matt Casamassina is already working on programming a game. Tentative title "Mailbag."
Obscure CAG joke? Yes.

Obscure CAG joke? Yes.
Isn't that referring to a Reggie quote?
Penis like PENIS Penis Penis!
If that was true, then every noun, adjective, and verb would've been replaced with "penis".

Yeah, someone has it in their sig... I think Matt was spouting some nonsense about Zelda: TP needing voice acting, Reggie called him on it.

The Rev d-pad is the same size, maybe even a little smaller, than the tiny GC d-pad. I wasn't expecting that. I would've thought it to be a little bigger, like the DC d-pad.

It's the same one from the DS Lite, according to PGC.com. Anyone know how the size compares?

Who said anything about the D-pad?

Is that the same size as the original DS, that was pretty small, too.

There's a comparison pic in the article, citing how small the controller is compared to the GC controller.
