There were plenty used games though they were selling them right outside the entrance today for some reason. The by 1 get 1 50% off is still going on at least where I am.

I'd pick up Deus Ex and NFS:underground for 20 combined. My BB never has anything decent though. I was hpoing for Metal Gear Twin Snakes but they had 0 copies.

Has anyone seen Sonic Heroes or Simpsons Hit & Run (on any system) at their blockbusters? If so how much were they? I have been wanting to pick these up, but they are still expensive at BB, EB, GS and CC. I would love to get these two using the buy 1 get 1 50 % off at BB.

I have seen Simpsons Hit and Run at a couple NorCal stores. I don't remember the price but I don't think it jumped out at me (so likely $25 or up).

My friend bought that Simpsons game as well as Raw 2 at BlockBuster the last time we were up there. I bought Deus Ex: Invisible War and KOTOR. :) With the "Buy 1, get 1 1/2 off", we paid a little over $21 (tax included).

EDIT/ These were sans booklet and cover. We didn't care, but if you're anal about that sort of thing, *shrugs*.

After getting four "Blowout" games and two "Total Immersion Racing" PS2 games from Best Buy ($1 each), I went to Blockbuster and presented two of them and was offered $10 in trade credit ($8 for TIR and $2 for Blowout). I found "Tony Hawk Proskater 4" ($12.99-- no instructions) and "Conflict Desert Storm" ($9.99 - 50%= $5 -- no official case or instructions included). It added up to $8 after trading in the two one doller games.

The discs were in acceptable condition, but were not by any means new-looking. In the end I feel it was a pretty fair deal.

I got Blitz Pro and T.H.U.G. for $16 plus tax. T.H.U.G. was marked wrong(12.99) and the lady gave me a hard time about the price, than she didn't want to give me the 50% off because T.H.U.G. was marked 12.99. I said it wasn't my fault it was marked wrong and if you don't want to give me the discount maybe your manager would. She started singing a different tune than. Dumb bit*h, was acting like it was her money or something.

I got a like-new Max Payne 2 for $12.99 some weeks back. BBV had about a dozen extra copies. Whoops!

Still waiting for Star Trek Shattered Universe and Secret Weapons Over Normandy to drop in price. The buy one get one half off isn't quite cheap enough for me. 8)

I scored downhill domination and wolverines revenge for xbox for $8 and Tiger Woods 2003 for 10, which is still selling for around 24 used at Gamestop, on the other note, got 3 dvds for 25

I was able to find Ms Pacman Maze and Gauntlet for the N64, both in original box w/instructions, got both for a total of $16.00 after the sale, not bad. They also had Paper Mario w/box and instructions, but tha twas $19.99. I was happy as I need some N64 games, and they are pretty hard to find in stores with their original boxes and instruction.

I did luck out on the Sonic Heroes... saw it with a bunch of other PS2 titles (I picked up the new Bond PS2 game as well) these were in clear cases, marked 9.99... buy one get one half off, and I was bold enough to ask and get the manuals, not a bad pickup for 15 and tax...


... too bad after this and and 5 buck extravaganza at Best Buy, I probably have about 40 games I need to play

Definitely ymmv, none of mine were close. They had DX:IW, but for 22.99. Everything was priced llike it was a few weeks behind, KOTOR is still 26.99.
