PGR 3 for $40 isn't bad for those who haven't bought it yet. Don't forget those GCC coupons that shave $5 off the price! Hopefully Fry's will offer some decent PM opportunities.

All that really matters to me is that BB will be getting Oblivion CE... getting the $60 PC version instead though ($70 for a fucking collector's edition on the 360??)

Let me let you in on my trick.

Let's say Target or Circuit City but the PC regular version on sale... Target has done it a few times, lets say at 37.99. All you have to do is take the ad, then PM at Best Buy for the LE... I've done this successfully for FEAR, Quake 4, and Call of Duty 2 no problem.

I should be able to get Oblivion CE for $50 then because the CE and the regular edition look pretty much identical to the uninitiated.

Three times I did. The boxes on most of them are so similar, and the cashiers don't know shit about PC Games, that they've done it every time.

All they see is that the ad has the game name, so does the box, good enough for them.

Only difference in the two Oblivion boxes is the color, it should be real easy. You'll get it even cheaper then $50 if someone puts the PC version on sale... I'm hoping Target does, they've put every new release for the PC at $37.99.

I can't believe I never thought of that CE/LE trick. I suppose it would work just as easily with consoles games too. I'll have to give it a shot with the 360 version of Oblivion and maybe MGS Subsistence if I'm feeling really sneaky.

To be a little more precise, that's everyone but EB/GS's price. They've also overpriced Tales of Phantasia and Drill Dozer recently. Unfortunately EB and GS are no longer two independent sources since the merger.

Anyhoo, lemme get this pricematching thing straight. I bring in an ad to BestBuy, show them a deal/price for the PC version, and try to get them to give me the collectors 360 edition to me for that price? Does that really work:hot:?

If you're gonna try that, you might want to stick with the same system (i.e. try to get them to give you the PC collector's edition for the sale price of the regular edition). It's a little harder to confuse a PC game and a 360 game.

Alright kiddos, finally found a deal for you on Oblivion PC.

Speedy told me next week Circuit City has the regular edition listed at $39.99... PM that to Best Buy for the LE, and you'll get the LE for $39.99.

Target dosen't have it listed, so saving $20 is the best we can do for now.

If anyone has a geforce FX card dont bother buying it. If you go to the forums, not anyone of the fx cards from the worst to the top in that category can get above 5 fps on the lowest with the lowest res in windowed mode. Sorry.

I got a 5600 i guess ill just PM so maybe in the future ill beable to play it :(
