Last week Target had all South Park Season DVD's on Sale.
Ad was good Sunday March 19 - Saturday March 25 2006.

Looks like ill be picking up seaon 5, 6 and 7 to finish up the collection. Im actually still missing one too but im guessing ill find it for less than 20 someday.

Hmm.. I have Season 3 but I've probably only watched 1/2 of the DVDs.... it's a good price but realistically I don't see myself having any time to watch them...

$29.99 is as good as it gets for Season 7 for all three major chains.
And $20 a pop for seasons 2-5 is pretty phenomenal. The last time Best Buy offered that price, you actually had to purchase all five first seasons to receive the discount.
Looks like I'll be PMing some DVDs next week.
7 is such a good season, i cant wait to pick it up

Yeah, I'm very happy for this.
Bought season 1 a while ago, season 5 when Target had it for 25 (will they adjust?), and season 4 this week for 25 from BB. Now I'll get 2 and 3 to finish up 1-5. I didn't really like s6, so I'm not gonna buy it. Maybe later, but for now 1-5 is good.

I'm heading out now to get season 2 and 3. Since I bought season 4 and 5 recently, I'll have dropped 90 on South Park in a month, so I won't be buying 6 or 7 right now. :\
Edit: Okay, so I broke down and bought Season 6, too. But I won't buy 7! I don't think...

Why dont you just buy Season 4 and 5 at Target and take them back to the place you originally got them and therefore you save $$$$? Because the ones at Target are new and factory sealed....

Well, I bought 5 at Target a few weeks back for 25, so that's a no go, and 4 was at Best Buy last week for 25. Although I could take it back, by the time I drive over there (semi-long drive) and pay for corssing a bridge two ways, gas and time, it's not worth the five bucks.
However, I appreciate the suggestion. If it was more than a 5$ difference, I'd do it.

Just got Season 2, 3, 5 and 6 at BB. The clerk made a mistake while PMing and gave me Season 6 for $19.99 as well! Now I need to track down a copy of Season 4 to PM. I think I'll wait for Season 7 to drop down to $20 before I snag that one. Lord knows I have enough South Park goodness for a while right now.

Picked up Season 5 and 6 today, i also realized i already have south park season 1 lol(it was simpsons season 1 which im still missing). All thats left is to pick up Season 7 tomorrow.
Oh and i picked up Tiger Woods, Polarium and Trace Memory DS for 7 bucks each too :-)

I once thought I'd love to start collecting South Park DVD's. Now that I watch the re-runs on Comedy Central or in syndication I've come to realize one thing about this series. It's only funny the first time around.
I love the show but it's not a can watch again and again kind of show to me.

From reading these post no one has picked up season 7. I was hoping to get some insight before I went out and bought it. I guess I will be the martyr for season 7, I will let you know what I think around 5 or so. Thats when I go to get it btw.

That's true for some episodes, but some are truly genius (Scott Tenorman, LOTR, etc), and are funny for a loooong time.

Everyone must pick up season 7. It has one bad episode IMO, and thats when earth is a reality show and is about to be cancelled. I bought my copy went out to the truck and opened it read the show list and was extremely happy with it. I say the best season of south park is season 7. I didn't realize all of these great episodes were in season 7.

Haha, I'm just the opposite. I've got 1-7 of The Simpsons, and just recently acquired 1-6 of South Park (So I guess I'm almost there).
I'm not buying s7 any time soon, though. I've got enough SPark to watch.

LOL I need all of them. I had season 1 and 2 but all my dvds got stolen a couple years ago and I never replaced them. :cry: Hopefully there will be a good deal like this when the next Simpsons season hits and I have the extra $ to get up to date.

I'll admit, this sale raked in my cash.
At my local Target, they had 3 sets of s1, 2 of s2, no 3 4 or 5, 2 of s6, and a bunch of 7. This was on display, though, I'm sure they had more somewhere.

I couldn't resist. I bought seasons 2-4 and 7 to add to the seasons 5 and 6 i bought yesterday. And I'll probably end up buying season 1 tommorow, just for completion.
This is one of those purchases I feel guilty about now (for spending so much fucking money at once), but I know I'll be so damn glad later I bit (like a DS, a new computer, an arcade stick, etc)

Thanks to CAG for letting me know about this deal. I now have all 7 South Parks, Simpsons 1-7, and King of the Hill 1-4. Now to move onto other series and collect them.

Snagged Season 5 and 6 of South Park... Season 4 was sold out, so they substituted Drawn Together Season 1 for $13.
Being a fan of Drawn Together, I figured this was a decent enough deal and went ahead and grabbed it, along with my raincheck for South Park Season 4.
