Anyone know what the skinny is about a DS deal? I've seen the Animal Crossing Bundle for 159, but is that it?

I was going to grab the Mario Kart Bundle, but I heard the DS Lite will be released in April or May. You might just want to wait for that.

Yeah, the Lite does seem to be a bit more "stylish"

the ds lite is just stylish. the screen is the same size. IMO its the same as how people feel between the micro and sp.

Actually, I think the Micro's screen is smaller than the SP's. Aside from the multiple levels of brightness for the DS Lite, the new button configuration also makes a difference, and obviously the sleek design and the fact that it will retail for the same price as the current DS make waiting for it for a few months worthwhile.

Gamespot's article comparing the DS to the DS Lite (http://www.gamespot.com/features/6145347/index.html), if it interests you. Just wantin' to set the facts straight.

Yea, I would wait. I already have the DS, and I'm contemplating getting another. In other news, did anyone read that the PSP price is dropping to $199 by the end of this month? I read it on engadget.com's gaming section. True stuff, confirmed from Sony.

I saw that but the $199 price does NOT include a memory card. That kind of stinks. Next thing you know they'll tell you the hard drive is necessary for the PS3, but make you buy that separately too...

That Nintendo DS.

With the great games and that cool new stylish look, it is going to rule the handheld market. Plus, with the cheap price of I guess probably $130 - $150, who wouldn't want to pick one up!

The DS Lite:

*Brighter LCD screens
* Longer battery life (depends on brightness setting) and faster recharge times.

I bet since the New Super Mario Bros. is going to be released in May, maybe with the new DS Lite, May looks to be a great month for handheld gaming!

They also released a Nintendogs bundle. recently as well. This one has the Electric Blue DS & not the Teal or Pink colors that were released last year.
