I cannot find this used game for less than $50 and I'm pretty broke right now. If someone is willing to sell it for $30 plus shipping, plz let me know.

No offense, but you are offering like one-third of the going rate, I wouldn't expect much in the way of results.

If anyone has Chrono Trigger laying around, I'm willing to pay $20 plus shipping...

I agree. I bought the XBOX version a few months back for 32.99 at Gamestop after an online coupon they had. Just sold it recently for $50 with no box or instructions. This game seems to be getting rare again.

And the PS2 version is actually worth more than the Xbox version, keep that in mind.

Why do you think that is? I'm just curious since it seems to be well known the PS2 version is the least arcade perfect port...

I personally prefer fighters of this kind on the PS2 just because of the controller...I would imagine a lot of people would agree, but maybe not enough to justify the rarity...

I agree, I think it is because of two factors...the huge install base of the PS2 (100 mil systems vs. 25 mil systems for the Xbox) means there are more people looking for it, and also a lot of people prefer the PS2 controller. Plus, there is no Live play on the Xbox version, so that is not a factor.

Personally, I have the DC version which seems to be the best version (and it's the cheapest!)

I just bought a copy of it on Ebay for 50 bucks

You got a great deal. That guy is an idiot for listing it at $50, but his loss is your gain. I would worry a bit that it's a stock photo, but he also has perfect feedback.

craigslist.org for the bay area usually has someone selling their copy for around $50.

My friend just picked up the Xbox version in very good condition, sans instructions, for 15 bucks at Coconuts. So there's still a good deal or two if you're lucky enough.
