I thought you were talking about the kickass Billy Zane movie.
Whatever happened to Billy Zane? After he started shaving his head he fell off the planet.

Ah yes, Billy Zane. I first remember ye as the Biff lackey in "Back to the Future" who nevers seems to speak. Then i recall ye as the effiminate thespian in "Tombstone". Then ye showed you're darker side by playing head demon in a Tales from the Crypt movie, then stepped into the purple tights of one of the first super heroes. And according to yeor imdb.com page...yes ye did kind of fall off into the dark chasm of direct to TV and DVD quality "films."

I believe the Phantom is pretty much the same deal as the Gizmondo (http://www.gamerevolution.com/static/index.php?section=feature&sub=gizmondo&page=index). People making huge promises to Venture Capitilists to steal their money an produce nothing. At least the Gizmondo came out though. I somehow doubt we'll ever see this aptly-named vaporware, ever.

I saw on Real Time with Bill Maher that Billy Zane starred in a movie recently where he plays a US soldier who murders Iraqi innocents in the war, and then harvests their organs to sell to a Nazi doctor on the black market. Apparently Gary Busey is in it too.
I am not even kidding.

Holy fuck, that sounds like the greatest movie ever.
But last I heard, the company responsible for the phantom does have an actual product coming out, the Lapboard. And from what I hear it might be surprisingly good.

The Daily Show had a thing on it too. Highest grossing opening and most expensive Turkish movie ever.

It didnt really fail, it never was. A year or two back I read an article where they investigated the head of Infinium, and hes a total scam artist. He's started like 3-4 different companies who have burned thru millions of dollars and never produced any product or content. He does stuff like make his moms house the corporate headquarters, or PO Boxes at mailboxes etc. He had an office listed, and the journalist who wrote the article went there and it was an empty storefront.
The day Infinium releases anything outside of a press release is the day I eat my own shoe.

I have a Phantom.
It plays 360, Xbox, PS2, PSone, Game Cube, 3D0, Sega CD, Jaguar CD, CD-I, Turbo Duo and CD-32 titles.
It has an 8 card expansion slot each the size of a laptop network card that will allow it to stay current when the PS3, Revolution, PS4, Xbox Next release. It's optical media is HD-DVD, Blu Ray and will do 1440P natively.

Wow! I heard it did the 1440p through just an RF Switch. Is that true? I might have to pick this up with the GGC. ;)

The first game for the Phantom is going to be "Duke Nukem Forever", and it's sequel (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/r/?page=http://www.computerandvideogames.com/news/news_story.php?id=135955)
