My dream revolution game

Alright so I have been thinking about this since the cagcast about Cheapys Panty Patrol about what type of game I would want to see on the revolution. After much thinking I think the game I really want to see is a Friday the 13th like slasher game on the Revo where you are the killer. I think if they made it splinter cellesque with stealth it could be really well done. It would be at a camp or some other place and you would have to stalk people and then you have to find the right time to kill them. You would be able to use most objects as weapons, think about being able to pick up an item and using the revo wand to be able dispatch other characters with your hand motions. The more people you kill, the more the remaining people start to be cautious and harder to kill. Also like a slasher film you have to take care of the bodies, because if you leave them lying about more people will start to hunt you down. At the begining its a lot of stealth and towards the end its more all out chaos because when there would only be 1 or 2 people left there is no need to be stealthy.

There could be an online mode where a bunch of your friends are the campers and they have to survive your rampage or vice versa. Also there could be another mode where you are one of the campers and you have to track down the killer.

I think a game like this might actually sell well and be a good more mature way to show gamers that the revolution wont just be for 1st party characters and niche games.


I highly doubt anything like this will be made ever, but horror movies really havent had much game time since the NES days.

Personally I can't wait to see how they incorporate the touchy feeling controller with Pilotwings. Handgliding!

I think they should make a game where you go see a psychiatrist. You can point and click with the revolution controller where you want to sit and select your responses. There can even be a stealth mode as you try to evade your friends as you go there so you don't have to admit that you're going to see a psychiatrist. Sounds great if you're a weirdo.

Sounds like fun. There was a Friday the 13th game for the Commodore 64 where you were suppossed to find and kill Jason, but You could kill the other campers too, soo I'd kill everyone until it was just me and Jason left in the camp...


I dont have any specific game ideas for the Rev, just gameplay ideas I'd want to see. I would love a survival horror game where you used the Rev controller like a flashlight, moving it around the screen to highlight things. And if something jumped out at you and you dropped the controller, the flashlight in the game would be dropped. I'd also like to see a Bushido Blade style fighting game where you slashed and blocked with the controller.
