Sorry if this has already been posted. I did a search and it didn't come up if it has.

Update: I stopped by Fry's Electronics the other day and it is now ringing up as $49.99, I guess it was a pricing mistake that I just lucked out on. :/

Once in a while they have imports on Outpost.com. Never have seen anything worth getting though. Jump Superstars would be worth it, especially for $35.

Onxard Frys has about 10 in-stock...not sure on the price. Last time I checked it was still $49.xx

Vegas Fry's definitely has a ton of these. Last time I was there (last weekend for Sonic Rush), they had them at $50. If it is $35 for an import than I'm definitely there. Thanks OP.

Perhaps it is a pricing mistake? If that is the case, then it most definitely is YMMV, which is unforunate.

Awww damn... you're going to make me drive all the way up there, aren't you? haha...

I was at Fry's in San Jose last weekend and they had next to no import DS titles except for Simple Series V2, Naruto and 1 or 2 others. But no JSS, Ouendan, etc...

thanks OP!

wish I'd known about this a couple days ago since I passed about 3 Fry's on my way to work. it's about time Fry's carried some worthwhile import DS games, Mahjong doesn't count :)

It's kinda YMMV, because everytime I go to Fry's I only see the imported Mahjong DS games.

It's been a month or so since I've been there though, so hopefully it's changed. Do they have Ouendan!!! yet? That would be my reason to rebuy a DS.

I was just at the Fry's in CA, City of Industry and they had a bunch of Jump Superstars. I think the price was $49.99 though

I went to the San Jose Fry's @ Brokaw today and picked up Jump SuperStars for $49.99 along with Bleach DS at the same price. They had only two copies of Bleach and a whole box full of JSS along with a box of Naruto 3 for $44.99.

I hadn't known that they had Bleach DS as well. Seeing how PlayAsia and Lik-Sang have it for roughly the same price, and that I doubt it will ever be released here because of license issues, I think I'll just have to pick one up. Thanks OP.

Hmm I might want to get that Naruto game. For sure I'll have to grab Bleach cause its Wifi enabled. Guess I'll hit up Fry's tomorrow.

Still listed at $49.99 at the San Marcos Fry's, though I didn't have them ring it up to see what it came up as.

though the deal is dead, thanks to the OP for posting that this game could be found at Fry's.

I finally picked up a copy of the game today at the Fry's in Campbell. They had a lot of copies, all $49.99. About 2 copies of Bleach as well.

I just picked up this game in Shibuya when I bought my DS lite. Not a bad game, but it's a bit hard to figure out some of the mission objectives.

Yeah, it took me a while to figure out what the different menus were for. IGN has a pretty guide, as well as GameFAQs.

I thought Japanese imports were technically illegal to sell in the US. I thought Sony was throwing hell at Lik-sang a while back about sending Japanese games over here(granted these are DS games).

Sony was upset at the sites selling PSPs to europeans I think, since the system wasn't out there yet.

Is there a list somewhere that shows what imports Frys carries? It'd be really helpful instead of me stumbling onto these games out of nowhere! Jump and Bleach were surprises for me.

I got Bleach last week, damn I flipped out...I was not expecting it at all! If Frys ever gets Ouendan I'm going to get banned from that store, my excitement will look like a tantrum. :D

I don't know of any...

How is Bleach? Is it easy to get into/understand.

Bleach is pretty text heavy, especially some of the stages in story mode have certain requirements that must be met in order to advance to the next stage. If they aren't met, you continue on but the game resets back to the first battle like a loop. Gamefaqs had one guide up on the game's page.

As far as import games at Fry's go, the DS selection at Brokaw has Simple series Mahjongg and another game in its style ("Go" perhaps? I think it looked like "Go" to me, didn't pay much attention.) Also, Naruto 3, Space Invaders, Jump Superstars, & Bleach.

PSP has a more diverse selection of import games at slightly higher prices (ranging from 39.99 to 54.99) including:

Gradius Portable, Me & My Katamari, Initial D, Bleach, Guilty Gear, along others.

No import games for the home console systems as of typing.

It is a hassle getting through story mode with Ichigo, but gamefaqs fixes that. Character voices speak the main menu options in english, you'll have no problem at all jumping in and starting fights. It's a very good game, it doesn't feel simple, like it was supposed to be a portable game. Lots of characters, combat is fast, made by Treasure too. If you're a fan, you're going to love it, like myself. Even if you don't know Bleach, it's still pretty solid I think.

I've seen all those titles at my Frys meatball, I just wish we knew in advance when and if they will get certain titles. Ouedan and Children of Mana, I'd jump on in an instant! I've still shocked they have Bleach, since it's based off an anime we don't have over here, but it did get licensed recently by Viz.
