Are there any games that are like Jet Force Gemini that I can play?

Metal Arms almost made the cut but the ridiculous music and the repetitive see-robot-shoot-robot gameplay got bored really fast. The storyline was also not even near the caliber of JFG.

I once saw a college guy living on my floor play Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando and it looked very, very good and I just had a snipet of music, like 5 minutes, it was really dark and moody music and I loved it - he also told me about sheepinator or something.

Is R&C: GC similar, and will provide plenty of gameplay? Are there any other 3-d action/shooters that are like JFG that I can find for cheap? I'm also looking at Winback (N64 or ps2? what's the difference?) but eh, looks bland like Extermination.

The Ratchet and Clank series is really good, one of the best platform games I've ever played. I definitely recommend it. Well, Jet Force Gemini to me was a pretty unique game, but perhaps you should look into Marc Ecko's Under Pressure game?

Blame the idiotic over-hyped GTA3 fever and fitty-cent games as the contribution to my overwhelming stereotype. Even if it's not GTA3, I still look at it and think to myself (gee, what a stupid urban game - Beat Down Fists of Vengeance and Urban Chaos comes to mind. Oh, and how can we forgot the new Final Fight: Streetwise, totally ruining one of the most prominent video series of all time.

I thus far have played two R&C games, the first and GC and I didn't like GC as much as the first. In some ways it improved, it other ways it got much more annoying. If you are more interested in the shooting than platforming you might jump straight to Ratchet: Deadlocked. Otherwise I don't know if R&C: Up your Arsenal was better than the other two. You might also enjoy MDK2, it also has a quirkness to it and 3 vastly different playable characters.
