Why is it so hard to find out the number of units sold of a particular game?
On Consoles the may way you know a game sold well and a sequel may be made is it hits the respective consoles platinum/greatest hits/gamers choice meaning it sold x number copies
On pc you just don't know inless it is a very poplar online game, like many franchise first person shooters or sim/civ type game.
I was looking to see Sid Miers Pirates! did it sell well enough to know it will either be updated for newer os's when it becomes where it will not play on a new os.
With movies every weekend you can get numbers on gross box office why not similiar on gameing.

Wow... Fight Night for PS2 and 360 did great, while it wasn't even in the top 25 for regular Xbox.
