Hello, all. I’ve got a Creative Zen Nano and I’m looking for a music transfer program with some specific functionality.

The Zen Nano doesn’t have any organizational features – it just allows you to browse the songs according to the folder you put them in. On my computer, all of my songs are in a single folder, grouped by artist, album, track number, and title with the filename. All songs are displayed by IDv3 tag info to make it readable.

So what I’m looking for is a free program (for Windows) that will read the IDv3 tag data and create folders on the destination according to it. Has anyone had experience with such a program?

A solitary bump. Come on, don't make me write it myself... I don't know how.

Have you tried Windows Media Player to sync or transfer the data? I know the Zen's also support drag and drop through Explorer and the player will read the ID3 tags.

Hey thanks! I actually hadn't tried WMP. Doh! It does what I need it to do. Now I just need to make it not convert everything to WMA...
