Free Gift card, PS3, XBOX360, etc.

Has anyone ever actually received a free game system or gift card etc., from one of those links through amazon, or other game sites?
I'm guessing a lot of these are 'surveys'.

Just wondering if these are all bogus. Or if you can actually get anything from them, what's the catch??

I signed up with Free Video Games.com about 2 years ago. You got points for completing offers that companies had going through there, such as free trials and stuff like that. I actually earned enough points for about 7 or 8 free games over that time span. The company who sponsored it was Gratis Network or something, and they are the same company who has some of the "Free Xbox 360 console" sites, and "Free I Pod Sites". Terms are different now, but they do follow through if you complete all the offers.
